The 3rd industrial revolution

In the palm of your hands

The first industrial revolution-had occurred during the late 1700s up until the mid-1800s. Primarily in Europe (Great Britain) people used coal and iron to produce technological revolutions. Marvels such as the spinning jenny, the water frame and the spinning mule made possible the mass production of textiles and mechanical power shifting to water, coal, and steam based properties instead of manual labor.

The second industrial revolution-focused more on an evolution of its predecessor. Originating in the 19th-century railroads were being developed as a form of transportation as well as steel and iron factories. The great inventions of the telephone, the radio, and automobiles had increased the standard of living for western societies as a whole. Electricity output was one of the main factors in the second industrial revolution.

The third industrial revolution, in my opinion, is the invention of the internet, computers, tablets and the cellphone. With these innovations we have broadcasting opportunities like youtube, facebook, instagram, twitch, steemit etc. Machines like the 3-D printer will revolutionize how we produce items. And the oncoming evolution of artificial intelligence promises a future where we all have a far easier lifestyle than what we are already used to.

With all this being said what will you do with the little economy in your hands?

Hi. I don't agree with your comments on the third industrial revolution. Once machines take over work thru AI, only the smart ones will benefit. What happens to the low skilled whose jobs will be gone. How do u think they will be leading the so called comfortable lives.

Let me know your thoughts.

That is what steemit and all other social media sites new and old will be there for in my opinion. People will have to learn how to enterprise themselves or face extinctinction i’m afraid

Whether eels or our not, what u said is true.

Are we in the third industrial revolution? It's definitely something to think about, especially with all the advancements in tech being made in the last few years.

I would have to agree that we are in the third age, although I think it started earlier with the advent of the television, suddenly the world could be in your front room.

I think the start of the third age was accessible internet. Now we can see, talk, hear, search and share information without having to travel thousands of miles to each other.
