Old ancient Khmer jewelry

Hello Steemians,

I would like to introduce our old Khmer jewelry.

Because fashion is my passion, I combine myself with different accessories and in this way jewelry plays a big part in my life.
I love several jewels of this age or ancient jewels of ancient times in the Angkor period. The reason I find them very beautiful is the embellished structure engraved on the ring, earring, bracelet, necklace, belt, ankle strap and upper armband. The stones are used in a certain way so that they are properly seated. It looks beautiful and elegant! These jewelries are in the period of the 6th to 14th centuries.

This ancient ring is from the 14th century and it's 18 karat gold with carnelian cabochon. Image source

This ring is from circa 12-13th Century, in the center you'll see three tiered lotus set with a rock crystal and on the shoulders have triple headed Nagas.

As is happening today in Iraq and Syria, when the Cambodian civil war arose, there are people who organized
to plunder of Khmer ancient artifact or jewels. Fortunately, there are people who make sure that the old jewels return to our home country again. And i'm glad that we try to do our best to preserve it.
