Internet history
begins with the development of electronic computers in the 1950s. The public's first idea was introduced on the Internet, when computer science professor Leonard Crinrock sent a message to the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) via Urpanet from his laboratory University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The second part of the network equipment was installed there.
In the late 1960s and early 1970s, packet switching networks such as the UK's NPL, Siklidis, Merit Networks, TeamNet and Telnet's instrument, Mark I were developed using different protocols. VPNet specializes in the development of protocol for Internetworking, where multiple networks of networks can be connected to a network.
It was expanded in 1981 for access to the Urpanet, when the National Science Foundation (NSF) developed the Computer Science Network (CSNAT), and again in 1986, when NSFNET allowed research and education institutions in the United States to join super computer sites.
Commercial internet service providers (ISPs) appear in the late 1980s and early 1990s. In 1990, Arpnet was employed. In 1995, the internet became a commercial product, when NSFnet was activated, the ban on the use of the Internet to carry out the commercial ban was removed.
From the mid-1990s, Internet culture and trade and exposure-instant communications such as electronic mail, instant messaging, voice over Internet protocol (VOIP), "phone call", two-face interactive video calls and internet forums, blogs, social Networking services and online shopping websites have a revolutionary effect.
The research and education community continues to develop and develop advanced networks, such as the NSF's High-Speed Backbone Network Service (VBNS), Internet 2 and National Lamdar. Large information is transmitted to a higher speed fiber optic network which is 1-Gbit / s, 10-Gbit / s, or more.
Today Internet is constantly growing for online information, business, entertainment and social networking.
