The decorations were displayed behind the golden crowns.
Those decorations were priceless due to the scarcity of Baekje relics. Moreover those relics found in the tomb of King Muryeong were only case that the owner was confirmed.
Because most of Baekje relics were stolen, the owners of relics were not known in many cases.
There were 3 designated national treasuries among the decoration displayed in museum.
I’d like to introduce these treasuries in this posting.
The first thing attracted my interest was the earring.
It looked not special at first, but the researcher of the museum explained it’s uniqueness.
The most astonishing part was this earring was made up of 99.9 % pure gold.
It meant that the refining techniques of Baekje Kingdom was very advanced to other civilizations.
The researcher told me that the pure gold content of the earrings was 98 % in Shilla Kingdom.
It was said that the working in gold was more delicate in Baekje Kingdom than Shilla Kingdom.
When I was looking around the museum for Shilla relics in Gyeongju, I didn’t notice comparative workmanship in gold between Baekje and Shilla.
I think I need to visit the museum in Gyeongju once again to look at the relics more carefully.
Second treasury was the necklace.
The necklace was Queen’s and also golden. But the uniqueness of this necklace was it’s design and technique. All parts composing this necklace were same size and it had same bending angle.
In this reason, this necklace could be designated as the national treasury.
The king’s necklace was also found, but Queen’s necklace was evaluated more valuable in artistic quality.
The third was queen’s bracelets.
The queen’s bracelets were made up of silver.
The researcher explained the reason designated as the national treasury was the record written inside of the bracelet.
In this record, the maker of the bracelet and the weight of silver were written.
The most interest fact was the unit of the weigh was smaller than “g”
The fact Baekje Kingdom had used smaller weight unit than “g” showed the advanced technology of Baekje people.
Even though there were not many relics of Baekje, it was sufficient that those treasuries astonish us for the superiority of Baekje Kingdom’s technology.
Thank you for reading.
You mentioned a variety of ear rings of Queen. And every Ear ring has its own uniqueness and design which make it different from others.
Thank you for comment
Hello brother @slowwalker
How are you, are you fine?
I think it's look interesting potrait, beautiful photography about historian potrait.
Regards brother,
whoa, these artefacts still look so new!
very beautiful jewelry, @slowwalker.
In a previous post you lamented losing the history of the Baekje dynasty, one of the most advanced cultures in the Korean Ancient World.
Apparently there are no large architectural remains such as pagodas or Buddha statues but you have discovered some exquisitely crafted jewelry.
In a way, this is much more personal because these necklaces and the silver bracelet were worn by the king and queen.
Your photos of the gold pieces shining in the light were very impressive. It's apparent that the craftsmanship is very delicate and the refining techniques produced articles that glow with beauty.
My eye was drawn to the queen's necklace which looked very simple and natural - at first, I thought it was a very humble necklace made from bamboo but your closeup photos revealed the fine artistry of the links and the precisely wound gold wire.
National treasures are not always great monuments - sometimes they are tiny beautifully wrought ornaments for personal wear.
A thing can be perfect despite its dimensions.
Have a good day, my friend.
Thank you for visiting and comment.
Have a nice weekend
The photography with details helps me a lot to know the historical truth.thank you.

it makes me wonder how our civilization has yet to be even more advanced than our current state. If they were able to do that long ago, it sort of tells me that we aren't advancing that quickly. i've got no problem though. as long as scientists and presidents consider humanity first.
craftsmanship was not so advanced compare to the past.
technology is another problem
It was a nice and useful informations.
Thanks
참으로 정교하고 아름다운 금장식입니다
순도가 높은것도 참으로 놀랍네요

🎨 Hello! @slowwalker and everyone reading👋
I Invite you all to take a look at these Venezuelan artists and their artworks that go mostly unnoticed on the steemit platform.
Thank you!
jewelry is very beautiful, and very meaningful, certainly very expensive, successful for @slowwalker
I guess back in the days they take craftmanship very seriously. Also kind of weird the Queens necklace was valuated higher than the Kings Necklace. I understand the artistic details in the Queens version were more detailed. But on the other hand historically wise, the King's necklage could also be much more because of just him being the King right?
luar biasa. membuatku tercengang
What beautiful and curious jewels, I love your interest in these relics and especially that you take the time to show us and explain us, you do it very well!
The truth is that we all know that they are very advanced for the time and that is great.
So much history behind this jewelry.

Nice post, success is always for you friend
Unique relics, I especially liked the Queen's necklace. Such a simple and delicate design, made of pure gold. Even after many years, it looks impressive. Deep non-sparkling color of real gold.
interesting article and well written blog. Enjoy your travels!
Your post is so fascinating, I'm always pending that you publish, the truth is of my interest, and it's great to read them
It may be that 0.1% that is not gold bothered the queen lol.
Great pieces of jewelry, thanks for sharing :)
