I laughed so hard at the semen's part. I had never read about that part or maybe I forgot even thought it seems pretty incredible I could have forgot such a weird and funny thing.

These myths are pretty intriguing. I love the the hypothesis I've heard put forth in the documentary DMT the spiritual molecule where someone advance these myths are there to recognize the time our consciousness access the underworld or the world of the death.

The book of the dead was supposed to be learn by heart and so it was theorized these myths are in fact metaphors that we'll observe in one way or another when we're dead and recognizing them should help the dead people navigate the underworld.

I'm glad you had a chuckle, history should be fun to learn afterall.
There are a few interesting hypothesis regarding some of the oldest known myths, I believe they originate from much further back in antiquity than mainstream academia are willing to admit.
Fragments of evidence of a lost civilisation that existed pre ice age are slowly appearing as sites and structures such as Gobekli Tepe push back the previously accepted timelines of 'modern' man.
Similar myths are found on a worldwide scale which appear to teach the same lessons of morality and behaviour after death suggesting a single forgotten originator from a forgotten time.
Fascinating subject matter.
