Ever heard bout d katana? It's a beautiful curved blade, average of 65cm, typically used by the Samurai in feudal Japan. 
I love the Samurai and their fighting style, but wah I also love is their respect for their blades...
The katana is strong and stupid sharp... to emphasize how sharp it is, a falling strand of hair dat falls on d blade cuts... get that?
Initially, I learnt that d samurai use dis thin swords called the Tachi... they had to switch up to d katana wen d Tachi broke in combat and couldn't pierce d enemy's amour.
3 different types of steal were used in making a katana blade, of vary strength... guess d proportion used determined d type of sword made...
Great thing katanas are still available, I'm definitely gonna get me one... probably a birthday gift?... hmmm...
