Let's get some fresh air for once and go on strike from our mining jobs.
In Aachen Wien Brussels and Budapest there were strikes and riots. In the Czech Republic and in Belgium the coal miners had completely stopped working. In the Czech Republic alone 5000 men were on strike. ( The first picture is actually in the USA)
Okay great so what if coal miners on strike who cares they will get back to work once they get hungry. Well as long as they do not work the factories will not be able to produce goods because most are powered by coal wops.
Additionally, there were multiple strikes by other factory workers such as in the pipe and glass factories. Although there were no unions at the time neither did they coordinate their strikes.
And why were they on strike? Probably because of bad dental care.
No ,but seriously the workers went on strike because they were overworked and underpaid, business as usual. You know back in 1900 people liked the idea of Communism. I think you would like it to if you would be worked 12 hours 6 days a week on a dollar a day wage. Anyways the workers wanted a 20% increase in wages and their work hours lowered to 8 hours.
Guess what the factory owners were like nah you work like slaves okay :) . Makes you appreciate your modern day job.
