I think it would be other way round. He will explain us how technologically challenged society we have become. In their time they had all the technology to build pyramids, Great Wall of China or the hanging garden of Babylon. More importantly, they knew to live a happy, peaceful and lazy life in the midst of nature, everyone's lifestyle was environmentally sustainable and much more constructive than today's. But modern civilization has almost gone bankrupt and is so blind to acknowledge it that they say they have made a huge progress over the Romans! The fact is, they are struggling to reduce their carbon footprint, to gain a consensus on climate change issue, to conserve the forests & wild-life, to devise ways to consume lower energy to travel & communicate etc., etc. After all, complicating lives is not the real technology, simplifying it more than the Roman way of life along with making it comfortable & safe would be termed as some kind of advancement.
Roman would be wise enough to react, "Let these people earn Steem interacting over some inanimate machines, I'd better go on some adventure in the wild and charge up my batteries without any steam". 😜
