Welcome to the hit-parade for newcomers!!
People feel happy when their post appears in the global daily chart. Moreover, they can get a nice award on SteemitBoard when they occupy the top position.
I guess you also noticed that these enviable positions are often occupied by well known bloggers who have already earned a good reputation. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get noticed and appear at the top.
This can lead to significant frustration for newcomers who write quality posts but feel drowned in the Steemit ocean.
This is where the Hit-Parade for Newcomers comes to help.
To get a ranking in this hit, you need of course to get a fair amount of votes, comments, or payment. But this hit-parade will be restricted to:
- users who NEVER appeared in ANY of my previous daily Global Hit.
- users who have a reputation lower than 50.
I think you now understand that only newcomers will be able to pop-up here. This way, we can put the spotlight on new authors and help them to raise their reputation.

We think you may have automated this one step too far.
I removed my vote, flagged the post for abuse and blacklisted the account.
My hit-parade is the result of the blockchain activity, not my own choice. Doing else woyld be kind of censorship.
Anyway, shit happens abd I'm glad you noticed it and notified me. Thank you.
Publishing such lists is also a form of curating, or at least is seen as that by many, as they draw attention to postings. When looked at it like that, having at at least a quick look at what you list could be called proper and responsible curating, and not censorship at all.
It's a way of seeing things. One could also say that it is a good thing that the abuses appear somewhere and that it enables people to react.
The world is not always all white or all black.

I want to be clear, this is not a complaint. For all of you that make this list you should be very happy. I am about two weeks shy of one year on steemit, and even though I am at REP 57 and would not qualify for this, I still would not qualify even if I was at REP 49, on all those criteria above.
The most votes I think I have ever gotten, and this is very recent was 148. So I would be out of running on vote count. for sure. The most comments I have gotten, well I could be close on that, I have had a few post that got a few comments one or two may have even been in the 30 comment range.. As for "Post" pay-out, I am way way out in left field on those, not even in the ballpark.
I am happy for those that can and have reached the levels above, but for those of you like me, in the overall scheme of things it is whether you are having fun on steemit. If you are, then you are a winner, pretty badge or not.
