Hello, all of my friends at the Hive Universe. How are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of the Almighty. Today, I am going to talk about protein balls. In Bengali, it is called "laddu".
I love to eat this protein laddu. This protein laddu I made especially for my husband. He came back during his holidays. And I learned this recipe recently. And the first time I made it, I shared these protein balls with my friends. They ate them and said it was tasty. I also made it for my parents, sister, and brother. So, I wanted to make these protein balls for him.
To make these balls, we don’t need any sugar. We can make it without mixing sugar, and the taste will be sweet. Because I added the date fruits. Let's make the balls.
At first, I went to the Tongi market to buy all the ingredients, then I came back home and freshened up myself. Then I started to make protein balls.
Ingredients:
- Cashew nuts
- Almonds
- Peanut
- Sesame seed
- Pumpkin seed
- Chia seed
- Flattened rice
- Oats
- Date palm fruits
- Clarified butter or ghee
At first, I cut all the nuts. It took so much time. Then I washed the date palm fruits, and I removed seeds inside the date palm fruits.
Secondly, I took a pan, then I took One spoonful of ghee. After that, I put the peanut in the pan and roasted it on low heat. In this way, I roasted all three types of nuts. Nuts. After that, I roasted Pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds. After that, I also fried flattened rice and also some oats.
Thirdly, I blended date plumb fruits. Then I took that pan and took a spoon of ghee and put the date fruits in the pan. I was doing that. Because, when I washed it, some water was intake inside the date plumb fruits. So, I was frying at a low heat. So that water could be removed. And I can store it.
Then the time was for mixing all the ingredients. That time, I added three spoons of chia seeds. Then, with the help of my hands, I made round protein laddu. It should be finished before it becomes cool. Otherwise, I can't make it. So, I made it quickly.
After finishing, I made the laddu. I served it to my husband. He ate and said, "It is yummy. " And it is also beneficial for our body and health.

- Improve heart health and many benefits. So, I think we should try it as a snack.
Above the picture, the laddu in my hand was made by me yesterday. After I made protein laddu for my husband, I did not make it further. Because I don’t get time to make. Today is my holiday. My university is off. So, last night, I made that protein laddu. Here all ingredients are not present, because I made it suddenly. The cashew nut was finished, and a few Pumpkin seeds were in my home. One box of Pumpkin seeds finished, and few remained. But the taste is yummy.
I store these protein balls in a container. So that, I can eat it for the entire week.
Today, I share my protein laddu with my flat mate's sister and with my friend Tanjina. She says it is delicious to eat.
