A Burger and Goodbye

Hello there, Blockchain Foodies!

On my last vacation day in Caracas, I had the chance to go and listen to @manujune sing live during a Christmas activity of the Conservatorio de Musica Simon Bolivar. After said activity and arriving late due to getting into an adventure with @maryed, I went for lunch with June's dad, @hlezama. We ended having something to eat at this place in front of Madariaga Square called Diez20.

Diez20 is a reference to 1020, the postal code of the city. Anyways, I remember this place when it was just a bakery. It was already quite big and busy during those years. The last time I had set foot in it must have been in 2010 or something like it. Now, it is a full-blown restaurant-cafe that still holds some of the bakery aesthetics but plays them as a really fancy place.

I had one of their burgers. Yes, it was again a chicken sandwich since I think it is how you measure if the seasoning of food is good. The burger comes with fries and a serving of Caesar salad. I tried out the salad, but it wasn't my thing. My aunt makes it batter, so I handed it over. The burger was quite good. It has lettuce, tomato, bacon and a really big chunk of chicken.

They give you this selection of sauces to add having things like guasacaca, garlic and parsley, corn, mayo, mustard and ketchup to add to your food as you see fit.

I gotta thank @hlezama for the amazing photo reflecting how good it was! It was a nice shot to capture the essence of my being, someone who loves eating!

Such a burger was a nice end to a what actually was a foodie vacation to the capital. There are more things to try and I hope to get back soon to do it!
