She Got me Lunch

Hello there, Blockchain Foodies!

While taking a look at some photos in my gallery, I found out these ones. They are from the day I had my first presentation as a Professor in a Congress. It was a nice day. The cherry on top of it was the whisper in my ear after we finally left the Cultural Complex: "hey, handsome. Wanna grab lunch? I'm buying." Now, that's a phrase you don't listen everyday.

And I gotta be honest, that wasn't it at all. But I'm telling the story; so I can adorn it as much as I like. It was no other than my girlfriend, @octocel. The reason? She just wanted to buy me lunch. That's is one of the dreams of man. Since in society the idea of men paying all the time is convoluted and has been around for too long, having your girlfriend, wife, friend buy you something is amazing.

I'd say my mom buys me things too, but that usually is my brother's money. Anyway, I had the chance to be treated some Arab food. And I love Arab cuisine. However, while deciding what to get for drinks, I took a walk through the food court and bought some smoothies. They come in this plastic can thingy and they looked amazing. I got her a pineapple smoothie and some lemonade for myself.

Then, we sat with his whole lot of food. There were 4 falafel wraps, some more falafel, fries and Greek yogurt. And it was an amazing lunch. Why? Well, there was no short amount of stares and flirtation. Now, that's my find of experience. It isn't like I haven't had a girl buy me lunch before, but this one felt different.

And the "different" that feels amazing.

In the end, there were 2 leftover wraps and one was sent to my parents. Imagine that, being treated for lunch and having dinner for your parent all at once. Now, that is some nice way to earn brownie points.
