Hello there, Blockchain Foodies!

This was the setting for my Christmas dinner on December. As usual the plate keeps varying and becoming its own thing. We don't have pork leg but instead ribs. It is an interesting change. Legs tend to get dry and ribs and interesting in their own accord.

For last year, mom made some kind of vegetable dish. I think you can call it a cacerole. It's a bunch of vegetables, cream and cheese. If was surprisingly good. The usual hallaca and ham bread of the table. Plus, we can never have enough sangria. That's the usual drink on the table during those times. It used to be wine, but that got expensive as well.

Something interesting about this year was the incision of dessert. Back in the days where grandma's used to be the center of the celebration, there was a table full of nuts and sweets. That was our dessert. Don't know the exact reason, but as a child you don't mind having some chocolate after dinner.

We had a lemon pie that my cousin requested from abroad to someone who makes desserts locally. It is was nice, but it doesn't compare to my friend's one.

All things considered, the best part of the dinner is thanking life for having the luxury of getting such a treat. Let's see what we get for Christmas this year!
