Hello friends, happy day! I hope you are well and that you had a nice day. As for me, I'm feeling pretty good, thank God. I'm here to tell you a little bit about my experience visiting the restaurant called "La Catedral" which is located right in the walled city of Cartagena.
After wandering around the place for a while we decided we wanted to have a nice dinner, so walking through the alleys and looking at different options we decided to have dinner at "La Catedral". A restaurant that although small is quite cosy and with a very friendly service. We chose a table for two while we listened to their amazing live music, it was two young people with super nice voices.
For lunch we each ordered a churrasco which was accompanied by potatoes, I ordered the churrasco quite grilled while Fer decided to have the churrasco 3/4 finished. The meat had a chimichurri sauce on the top which was really good and without a doubt brought out the flavours, I loved the presentation as it was on a banana leaf (if I'm not mistaken) and gave it a very Caribbean touch.
To go with it we ordered some flavoured sodas, in this case both were cherries and although they were delicious and refreshing I admit that I was a bit sick of the cherry. And well, as this time we didn't order a starter we decided to order a dessert, in this case a caramel custard which I have to be honest is the best I've tasted so far, it was quite creamy and had a slight touch of orange and coconut.
In the end, we paid a total of $143.000 Colombian pesos ($34.43 USD) and without a doubt, we had an incredible and very pleasant evening, I loved sharing this dinner with Fer's company and in such a dazzling city as Cartagena. Hola amigos, feliz día! Espero que se encuentren bien y que hayan tenido un lindo día. Por mi parte, me encuentro bastante bien gracias a Dios. Paso por aquí para contarles un poco de cómo fue mi experiencia visitando el restaurante llamado "La Catedral" que se encuentra ubicado justo en la ciudad amurallada de la ciudad de Cartagena.
Luego de pasear un poco por el lugar decidimos que queríamos cenar algo rico, así que caminando por los callejones y viendo diferentes opciones decidimos cenar en "La Catedral". Un restaurante que aunque pequeño es bastante acogedor y con una atención muy amable. Escogimos una mesa para dos mientras escuchábamos su increíble música en vivo, se trataba de dos jóvenes con voces súper lindas.
Para comer pedimos cada uno con churrasco el cual venía acompañado con papas criollas, por mi parte pedí el churrasco bastante asado mientras que Fer se decidió por termino 3/4. Les cuento que la carne traía una salsita de chimichurri por la parte de arriba que estaba buenísima y sin duda hacía que resaltarán los sabores, me encantó la presentación ya que era sobre una hoja de plátano (si no estoy mal) y le daba un toque bastante caribeño.
Para acompañar pedimos unas sodas saborizadas, en este caso ambas eran de cerezas y aunque estaban ricas y refrescantes admito que me empalago un poco la cereza. Y bueno, como está vez no pedimos entradas decidimos pedir un poste, en este caso un Flan de caramelo que debo serles honesta es el mejor que he probado hasta el momento, estaba bastante cremoso y se le sentía un ligero toque a naranja y coco espectacular.
Al final, pagamos un total de $143.000 pesos colombianos ($34.43 Dólares) y sin duda, pasamos una noche increíble y muy agradable, me encantó compartir de esta cena con la compañía de Fer y en una ciudad tan deslumbrante como lo es Cartagena.
