Something I like every time I visit the airport in the evenings is that I find Mr. Bono store open until late hours, so the fact of enjoying a coffee or a snack never goes unnoticed, as they say in their advertising, there is always time to make ''a delicious break''.
Taking advantage of taking my mother-in-law to the airport, we passed by the store and I could see that they launched a new baked product, it is the Kit Kat Croissant and of course, I could not leave without trying it, it really caught my attention. Without thinking about it we bought it, it cost $6,800 Colombian pesos ($1.72 dollars). By the way, they give you the option to eat it hot or cold, in my case I decided to heat it up to taste the chocolate a little melted.
When I took the first bite I was super impressed because I could feel the chocolate, it is not like it was melting, but I could feel the cream, in addition it has a kit kat bar that felt crunchy and delicious which is what characterizes this candy, that is, the fact of heating the croissant did not damage the shape or the crunchiness of the chocolate cookie.
Personally I liked it a lot, especially because I like chocolate. The truth is that it was a little bit cloying, however, with a little water I was able to handle it haha, although I'm sure that when accompanied with a hot latte or coffee it would also be an incredible option. On the other hand, the size of the croissant was quite considerable so I was able to share it with Fer and satisfy that little craving. Algo que me gusta cada vez que visito el aeropuerto por las noches es que encuentro la tienda Mr Bono abierta hasta altas horas, por ende el hecho de disfrutar de un café o algún pasabocas o merienda nunca pasa por alto, como bien dicen en su publicidad, siempre hay tiempo para hacer ''una pausa deliciosa''.
Aprovechando que llevamos a mi suegra al aeropuerto, pasamos justo por la tienda y pude ver que lanzaron un nuevo horneado, se trata del Croissant de kit kat y por supuesto, no podía irme sin probarlo, realmente me llamó mucho la atención. Sin pensarlo llegamos a comprarlo, tuvo un valor de $6.800 pesos Colombianos ($1.72 Dólares) Por cierto, te dan la opción de que lo consumas frío o caliente, en mi caso decidí que lo calentaran para probar el chocolate un poco derretido.
Cuando le di el primer mordisco quedé super impresionada ya que se sentía bastante el chocolate, no es como que se derretía sin embargo se sentía bastante la crema, adicional tiene una barra de kit kat que se sentía crujiente y deliciosa que es lo que caracteriza a este dulce, es decir, el hecho de calentar el croissant no daño la forma ni lo crujiente de la galleta del chocolate.
Personalmente me gustó muchísimo, sobre todo porque me gusta el chocolate. La verdad si me empalagó un poco, sin embargo, con un poco de agua pude manejar la situación jaja, aunque estoy segura de que al acompañarlo con un latte caliente o café también sería una opción increíble. Por otra parte, el tamaño del croissant era bastante considerable por lo que sin problema pude compartirlo con Fer y saciar ese pequeño antojo. Si están en Colombia les recomiendo probarlo, la experiencia es simplemente deliciosa. Sin más, nos leemos en una próxima amigos. Un abrazo ❤️
