It's been about four years since I've been to a restaurant that has caught my attention as much as the experience I've had today at Restaurante La Sabana.

Hace aproximadamente cuatro años que no acudo a un restaurante que me llame tanto la atención como la experiencia que he experimentado hoy en el Restaurante La Sabana.
Located in Sabana del Blanco, it welcomes you to the oldest parish in Caracas, La Pastora. This emblematic area of the capital, which has been part of the stories of Caracas since colonial times, today houses a very particular restaurant, with a simple but well prepared gastronomy and an atmosphere that welcomes the visitor and introduces him to a trip to the typicality and time.
Ubicado en Sabana del Blanco, da la bienvenida en la parroquia más antigua de Caracas, La Pastora. Esta emblemática zona de la capital, que ha formado parte de las historias de Caracas desde la época de la colonia, alberga hoy un restaurante muy particular, con una gastronomía sencilla pero bien elaborada y un ambiente que acoge al visitante y le introduce en un viaje a la tipicidad y al tiempo.
The experience is not only gastronomic, I would dare to say that the essence of enjoyment is in its simple, cozy atmosphere, which surrounds the customer in the midst of a series of elements worthy of a museum, where you travel through the history of objects to reach the warmth of home, leaving behind the synthetic, dizzying and impersonal atmosphere of today's life.
La experiencia no es solo gastronómica, me atrevería a decir que la esencia del disfrute está en su ambiente sencillo, acogedor, que rodea al cliente en medio de una serie de elementos dignos de un museo, donde se viaja a través de la historia de los objetos para llegar al calor del hogar, dejando atrás el ambiente sintético, vertiginoso e impersonal de la vida actual.

I went with my sister and my little Chiquilín, as our faithful four-legged companions are cordially welcomed to the place, although they do not yet have a menu for them. But the one offered to human customers, slides from the so-called fast food, that is, pizzas, hamburgers and hot dogs, to the traditionally healthy as are its various and succulent salads, but the boiled beef, takes all the stars, because everything in it, is worthy of gods. Its presentation in an iron cauldron, its flavor and the variety of ingredients present in its preparation, lead us to the so familiar grandmother's boiled beef.
Acudí con mi hermana y mi pequeño Chiquilín, pues nuestros fieles compañeros de cuatro patas son cordialmente bienvenidos al lugar, aunque aún no disponen de un menú para ellos. Pero el ofertado a los clientes humanos, se desliza desde la llamada comida rápida, es decir, pizzas, hamburguesas y perros calientes; hasta la tradicionalmente sana como son sus diversas y suculentas ensaladas; mas el hervido de res, se lleva todas las estrellas, pues todo en él, es digno de dioses. Su presentación en caldero de hierro, su sabor y la variedad de ingredientes presentes en su elaboración, nos conducen al tan familiar hervido de la abuela.

En fin, un ambiente divino, una comida y bebida prodigiosa, pero para cerrar con broche de oro, vivir todo esto en su terraza, rodeados por la brisa y un cielo maravillosamente azul. Un rincón natural en medio de la ciudad… Un lugar estupendo que invito a disfrutar a los que están en la ciudad de Caracas y para los que aún no nos han visitado en Venezuela, pues póngalo en su lista para cuando llegue a nuestra maravillosa tierra de gracia.
