This cake is very simple to prepare and is also very delicious, a very good option to surprise the family, as sardines are an excellent source of Omega 3. For this cake I used 2 sardines in tins which I had at home and I learnt how to make it thanks to an aunt who loves to experiment in the kitchen, I hope you like it and I encourage you to prepare it.
Ingredientes-Ingredients:
2 latas de sardinas.
1 kilo de papas.
2 zanahorias.
Cilantro, cebollín y cebolla.
Sal al gusto.
Aceite para sofreír.
2 cucharadas de leche y mantequilla.
Queso rallado al gusto.
2 tins of sardines.
1 kilo of potatoes.
2 carrots.
Cilantro, chives and onion.
Salt to taste.
Oil for frying.
2 tablespoons of milk and butter.
Grated cheese to taste.
Preparación-Preparation:
First, cook the potatoes and carrots until tender.
Bring half a cup of water to a boil and add two tablespoons of milk.
Drain and mash the potatoes and carrots with a fork to a puree.
Melt two tablespoons of butter and add to the puree.
Add salt to taste and add a little milk until the desired consistency of the puree is reached.
Sauté the coriander, onion and spring onion in a little oil.
Open the tins of sardines and remove the bones, then add them to the sauce.
Put butter and flour in the mould to be used and add a layer of our purée, then the sardine sofrito, cheese to taste and seal with another layer of purée. If you wish, add another layer of grated cheese on top.
Bake in the oven until lightly browned and ready to enjoy this delicious sardine pie.
