Sabudana Vada(Cutlets) are fritters made with sokoed sago, mashed potato with some spices.These fried vadas are great for snacking or to serve as an appetizer. It is generally served during fasting days but as i like it so made it anyway. It is healthy cuisine as sabudana Contains glucose and carbohydrates, instead of frying you can Air fry it. It is easy to make with less ingredients, take this recipe you are gonna love it.

Ingredients 📃
• 1 cup Sabudana / Sago.
• 4-5 boiled Potato.
• 2 tbsp of cornstarch.
• 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
• 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
• 2-3 Green Chilli(optional)
• Salt to taste.
• Oil for frying.
Preparation 🧑🍳
n a large bowl take 1 cup sabudana and soak with enough water for half an hour. Drain off the water and rest for 10 minutes, allowing to drain off the water completely.
Process 🧑🍳
grate the boiled Potato, add the spices mention above.
Add the cornstarch for the crispness and binding the mashed mashed potatoes.
mix and mash well with your hand.
Take the small portion of mashed material, flatten them a bit and make them into round shapes as shown in picture.
Repeat the process, make ready all your vada.
Now Heat the oil, in medium flame Add vadas to the oil one by one, don’t overcrowd the kadai. Fry at medium flame, flip it to fry it from another side...
Your crispy sabudana vada are ready to serve with tomato sauce or Green chutney.
