πππππͺ-π¨ππππͺ. This mouth watering, body recharging delicious dish was named after a Japanese term which literally means "swish swish".
It is comprised of thinly sliced meat and vegetables among other ingredients and are directly cooked on the table by simply boiling the contents for a few minutes.
The main dish comes with several options such as pork, beef and seafood. You can also choose to have pumpkin, milk or cheese and milk as additional flavor. Just add condiments if you wish to further customize the taste based on your preference.

The topmost photo is my cheesy milk seafood order. It has scallops, shrimps, tofu, some mushrooms, small dumplings, fish and crab meat, cheese (which already melted) and the milky soup.
I know, I know. It looks very delicious. But actually tasting the cheesy, milky flavor of seafood is entirely something else. Very delicious indeed! π€€

I paid 225 NTD (New Taiwan Dollar) or around 6.97 USD in total including taxes. Not bad for enjoying a delicious and healthy meal. The place is also very clean and organized with polite servers.

Important note: if you want to eat Shabu-shabu in Philippine branches, always mention the complete name of the dish. Shortening it with just half of its name like "I really want to consume some sh@bu!" may get you into trouble because shabu means m3th, a highly addictive and illegal substance.
Give it a try if one is available in your area and you haven't tried yet.
I am happy that I am very full now but it will make me even happier if maybe you can give me a follow.
Please spread kindness and positivity everyone :)
PS: I also posted this on my hiveblog space.
Yum - this looks a tiny bit like our Scottish seafood chowder... I like the idea of a whole, complex meal in one bowl, especially with seafood as you describe! βΊοΈ
Thanks! Your comment made me wonder what your seafood chowder tastes like. How I wish I could taste different cuisine around the world.
Looks so good!
