HI EVERYONE
From time to time I like to eat a good plate of pasta, for my lunch today I made a delicious homemade bolognese sauce, the recipe is simple and very tasty, I invite you to enjoy the process of cooking this delicious homemade food.
- 1 kilo of ground beef
- 10 tablespoons of oil
- Dried basil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 onions (large)
- 10 cloves garlic
- 6 crushed tomatoes without skin, you can also use canned tomatoes
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 tablespoons dried oregano
- 3 tablespoons concentrated tomato paste (tomato puree)
- Half a teaspoon of sugar.
To make this tasty homemade sauce I have divided the process into three steps:
STEP 1
Place the ground beef in a large pot, we start cooking the meat over medium-high heat, the meat will cook on its own, without salt and without any seasoning, the meat should be moved and should be loose, cook until it starts to brown. When the meat is cooked and browned, turn off the stove and set aside.
STEP 2
In a separate pot place oil, bay leaf, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, chopped onion and crushed garlic; cook these ingredients over medium heat until the onion begins to crystallize.
Then add the chopped or crushed tomato, and mix well all the ingredients inside the pot.
We also add the concentrated tomato paste, and we integrate all this while stirring with a kitchen paddle.
The result is a concentrated tomato sauce, thick and robust, we turn off the stove.
STEP 3
Next we put this tomato sauce in the pot where the meat is, mix and add a glass and a half of water, at this moment we add a teaspoon of sugar and integrate it moving everything very well, cook over medium heat for a minimum of an hour and a half, I cook my tomato sauce for two hours.
Before serving check the salt level, and if you like you can add a little more freshly ground pepper. Also remember to remove the bay leaves already used, I have served this sauce with long pasta, and a little bit of paermesan cheese.

Salsa Bolognesa
De vez en cuando me provoca comerme un buen plato de pasta, para mi almuerzo de hoy hice una deliciosa salsa bolognesa casera, la receta es sencilla y muy sabrosa, los invito a disfrutar el proceso de cocinar esta rica comida casera.
- 1 kilo de carne de res molida
- 10 cucharadas de aceite
- Albahaca seca
- Sal
- Pimienta negra
- 2 cebollas (grandes)
- 10 dientes de ajo
- 6 tomates triturados sin piel, también puede usar tomates en lata
- 3 hojas de laurel
- 3 cucharadas de orégano seco
- 3 cucharadas de pasta concentrada de tomate (puré de tomate)
- Media cucharadita de azúcar.
Para hacer esta sabrosa salsa casera he dividido el proceso en tres pasos:
PASO 1
Colocar la carne molida en una olla grande, empezamos a cocinar la carne a fuego medio-alto, la carne se cocinara sola, sin sal y sin ningún tipo de condimento, se debe mover la carne y debe quedar suelta, se cocina hasta que comience a dorar. Cuando la carne esté cocida y dorada apagamos la estufa y reservamos.
PASO 2
En otra olla aparte colocamos aceite, laurel, orégano, albahaca, sal , pimienta, cebolla picada y ajo triturado; cocinamos estos ingredientes a fuego medio hasta que la cebolla comience a cristalizarse.
Luego añadimos el tomate picado o triturado, y mezclamos bien todos lo que hay dentro de la olla
También le colocamos la pasta de tomate concentrada, y vamos integrando todo esto moviendo con una paleta de cocina
Queda una salsa de tomate concentrada, espesa y robusta, apagamos la estufa
PASO 3
Seguidamente colocamos esta salsa de tomate en la olla en donde se encuentra la carne, mezclamos y añadimos un vaso y medio de agua, en este momento añadimos una cucharadita de azúcar e integramos moviendo todo muy bien, cocinamos a fuego medio por un mínimo de hora y media, yo cocino mi salsa de tomate por dos horas.
Antes de servir se debe verificar el punto de sal, y si le gusta puede colocarle un poquito más de pimienta fresca recién molida. También recuerde retirar las hojas de laurel ya utilizadas, esta salsa la he servido con pasta larga, y un poquito de queso pecorino.

We made Bolognese a little different but this dish looks surprisingly yummy I love Bolognese on spaghetti or pennette too.
