Hello Hivers! @itsmemic , once again! I'll be telling you guys about another of my encounters today.✨
This time, the focus is on how my friends and I had a great, unplanned day together, including where we ate lunch following a demanding school day. We don't often get together as a group, so this day was very memorable. I'll take you through every aspect of our short journey that made it special, from the difficulty of choosing where to eat to the delectable meals and treats we had.
Actually, we had no idea where to eat because all of us were undecided. We only agreed to hang out after class, as it’s rare for our small circle of friends to spend time together. Most of the time, we’re in different groups. After a few minutes of discussing, we finally decided to have lunch at Capitancillo.
Their dishes are a bit pricey, but we still went for it because, as we said, we deserve it! Hahaha. When it comes to food, we always seem to agree.
As soon as our orders arrived, I took photos of the food because they looked so appetizing, don’t you think? What’s nice about this place is that the service was quick—our food was served hot and fresh right after we ordered. You can really enjoy every bite. Some of my friends didn’t order rice since they brought their own, so they only bought viands. Others got full meals with rice and viands.
We smiled and posed for photos, but deep down, we were already stressing about how much the total bill would be. Still, we kept convincing ourselves that we deserved to treat ourselves after such a long, tiring day in class. Some friends even chipped in together to cover the bill, and one of our classmates generously contributed more since they had extra money.
Before eating, we made sure to take a group photo for memories, but don’t worry—we prayed before digging in! Our group vibe is always fun and cute. During the meal, we even planned to come back here once a month because we felt our payment was worth it. By the way, I forgot how much the food cost exactly, but here are some close-up shots of what we ate.
As for my order, I got pork belly with rice and chicharon. The belly was crispy, the rice was hot, and the chicharon was perfectly crunchy. Coincidentally, one of my friends ordered the same thing. Actually, I chose the same thing my friends order because they said it was delicious and juicy, and they were right!
After finishing our meal, we were so full that we forgot all about the stress from class. The food was amazing, the money was well spent, and the bond we shared during this meal made it even more special.
After lunch, my friends and I decided to grab dessert at Big Brew. Fun fact—we had a loyalty card that had already reached the maximum number of orders, so we earned a free drink! This time, the free drink was a panda pearl milk tea, and guess who got it? Yep, it was me! Before leaving, we took another selfie together.
