On this occasion, I will explain how to prepare an exquisite "beet and potato salad with mayonnaise dressing", this salad is the ideal option to use as a garnish for accompany countless dishes, I hope you enjoy the process of this tasty recipe, let's get started!
  • Buenas noches queridos amigos, espero que hayan pasado un fantástico fin de semana... En esta ocasión, les explicaré como preparar una deliciosa "ensalada de remolacha y patatas con aderezo de mayonesa", esta ensalada es la opción ideal para utilizar como guarnición para acompañar infinidad de platillo, espero que disfruten el proceso de esta sabrosa receta, empecemos!

  • INGREDIENTS: potatoes, beets, onion, fresh coriander, pepper, fine herbs, mayonnaise and salt.
  • INGREDIENTES: patatas, remolachas, cebolla, cilantro fresco, pimienta, finas hierbas, mayonesa y sal.

PREPARATION/PREPARACIÓN

  • Add enough water to a deep pot, add 1 tablespoon of salt, when it comes to a boil, add the potatoes and beets. I suggest NOT removing the skin. We cook over "high" heat until we check that they have softened, the cooking process will take approximately 30 minutes, in my case both took the same time to soften, if you see that the potatoes soften sooner, remove them from the water. Set aside until they cool to room temperature.
  • Agregamos suficiente agua a una olla honda, colocamos 1 cucharada de sal, cuando rompa el hervor, colocamos las patatas y las remolachas, les sugiero NO extraer la piel. Cocinamos a fuego "alto" hasta comprobar que se ablandaron, el proceso de cocción tardará aproximadamente 30 minutos, en mi caso ambas tardaron el mismo tiempo en ablandarse, si observan que las patatas se ablandan antes, extraen del agua. Reservan hasta que se enfríen a temperatura ambiente.

  • Add the finely chopped onion to a bowl, season with pepper, fine herbs and salt... Add the mayonnaise along with the fresh coriander (leaves and stems). We mix, cover and reserve in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  • Integramos en un bowl la cebolla, finamente cortada, aliñamos con pimienta, finas hierbas y sal... Añadimos la mayonesa junto con el cilantro fresco (hojas y tallos). Mezclamos, tapamos y reservamos en la nevera durante 20 minutos.

  • We add the potatoes... We add the beet, we mix with gentle and enveloping movements... Our appetizing salad is ready to enjoy! When plating I thought it would be great to decorate with coriander stems.
  • Agregamos la patatas... Incorporamos la remolacha, mezclamos con movimientos suaves y envolventes... Nuestro apetitosa ensalada está lista para disfrutar! Al momento de emplatar me pareció genial decorar con tallos de cilantro.
