Because I am bored, December 15, 2024, I visited Kahoy Cafe for the first time because of my boredom. Actually the Cafe is located on Diversion Road, Tilhaong, Consolacion, Cebu. We asked a motorcycle driver to lead us there. Getting there was easy and peaceful. The road going to the cafe had many trees and plants, giving a fresh and calming feeling for us. I asked the staffs there about the time they're open and they said that, they are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. on weekdays. This makes it make a place to visit anytime during the week for everyone that wanted a place to refresh their minds like me.
When I entered the Cafe, I immediately felt relaxed. It's already December, and the place was decorated with beautiful lights that made it look magical. The air was fresh because the cafe is surrounded by trees and green plants. Wherever you look you can feel the nature while eating and drinking, especially when you are with someone that you can talk to it makes you talk about things in life. The combination of nature and cozy place with the decorated lights made the place feel very inviting and peaceful. It was a perfect escape from the busy city.
Actually, I can say that Kahoy Cafe is a mix of nature and comfort. The wooden tables and chairs as you see in the pictures, along with simple but stylish decorations, create a warm and cozy atmosphere that will make everyone comfortable. You can chat with friends, read a book if you'll bring a book, or spend quality time with family. When we are there, there are also family gatherings where they ate together while having a good time just like me. Every corner o the cafe is picture-perfect. During the day, sunlight fills the space, making it bright and cheerful. At night, the soft lights give it a romantic and calm vibe. The sound of leaves and birds that we hear also makes our experience even better.
When it's all about food. Once you're inside the cafe the staffs will accompany you and you can get the menu on the counter and for payment you can pay cash or you can also pay through Gcash. The menu at the cafe has a lot of options, and everything is both tasty and healthy. If you like breakfast, the All-Day Breakfast choices are worth trying.
We tried the Chips and Dip, which were very tasty. The chips were crispy, and the dip was flavorful. You can really taste that it's healthy because the I can taste the herbs at the sauce. It was simple yet satisfying snack.
For dessert, we ordered the Vanilla Ice Cream. It was creamy and sweet that you can really taste the vanilla out on it, a perfect way to end our meal. The Milky Turon and Mango Sticky Rice are also great options if you want more desserts to try.
The drinks are also amazing. Well, if you love coffee, you'll find plenty of choices. From simple Single Espresso to sweet drinks like White Chocolate Mocha and Caramel Macchiato, there's something for everyone. If you prefer cold drinks, the frappes and smoothies are refreshing. Whether you want a hot drink or a cold treat, Kahoy Cafe has it all.
There are times that we just want simple drinks, they also have sodas and water for everyone. My boyfriend wanted to drink water only so that's why it's also convenient because we can just order it.
As I ended my visit, I didn't want to leave but it's getting late in the evening. The peaceful surroundings, tasty food, and delicious drinks made it a memorable experience for me. I spent some time walking around the area, enjoying the fresh air and taking photos to remember the day.
At this moment I find my day boring so I asked my boyfriend to accompany me going to Enjoy Shopping at Consolacion, Cebu. I had no plans on that day, but I think the most memorable days are those that are spontaneous.
