Hello, today I would like to greet everyone with a popular Spanish dish that many people already know. And for this meal, it is a dinner meal. After we went on a trip to a friend's house outside the city, today we came back again to wait for our return trip and we moved our accommodation zone from one side to another place where we found a restaurant in Carrer de la Riera Blanca 61.
We came to visit Barcelona and of course we wanted to eat authentic local food. We tried to find a restaurant that was run by Spanish or local people. But we are tourists, so every time we have to guess whether each restaurant we go to is delicious or not. And we came to this restaurant after walking around looking for a restaurant in many places. We walked into the restaurant and chose to sit inside because it was cold. There were seats both inside and outside. After that, we looked at the menu and ordered food.
In front of the restaurant is a counter and on the side is a glass cabinet with food placed in front. When customers order food, the waiter will come to scoop some of the main ingredients in front that are placed in large quantities here. There are not many restaurants that do this. We ordered a lot of food but there were only two of us because we had been eating all day. So tonight we had a full dinner.
The appetizers came first. Just the appetizers came in a large plate. From the picture, just eating the appetizers should be enough to fill us up with three dishes. We started to eat until we finished it. Until the server served the main course, Spanish fried rice or seafood paella. When it was served, we were shocked because it came in a large pan but there were only two of us. Just the appetizers made me full already. But we wanted to eat it. We didn't think it would be this much. It's like ordering when we're hungry, huh?
The paella was fragrant. There was seafood sprinkled on top. The smell was wafting. Plus, it looked delicious. Big clams, pieces of squid and shrimp. It looked very delicious. We didn't wait. We quickly scooped up the food in front of us to eat. And we couldn't finish it because we were so full. So we didn't have the energy to eat more. Overall, all the food was delicious. We liked it a lot even though we couldn't finish it. But it was okay. It's considered that we've arrived in Spain.
