Hello friends greetings to all of you. Hope you all are enjoying good and healthy food. I am also very fond of cooking. I often made different things related to food. Today my mother health was not good and my brother asked me for cooking biryani because he is very fond of eating biryani. This is also my first entry in @hivefood. Hope you will also like my effort. First i want to tell you the whole ingredient and spices.
Ingredients
One kg rice
Half kg chicken
4 big size onions
2 big size tomatoes
6 green chilies
2 big size lemon
Ginger Garlic paste
(spices) red chili one tablespoon
turmeric one tablespoon
salt as per tastem
biryani powder
dry coriander
Garum masala one tablespoons etc.
procedure
As you all know that biryani made in layers so first i made gravy. I toom big wide pan put oil and onions. I fried onions till it changes into light brown colour. Then i added chicken and fried it till it also changes colour. Later on i added remaining ingredients like ginger garlic green chili tomatoes and lemon.
For five minutes i cooked the whole ingredients then i added whole spices that i show you above.
I put one glass water in the Garvey cooked it till five minutes. When oil came on the layer then my gravy was ready.
Now it's time to cook rice. First i boiled water as i needed for boiling rice. In the water i added salt one lemon for boiling water.
I stained the rice in the h stainer for layering the gravy and rice both. Step by step i layered rice and gravy. At the last i added some food colour in yellow shade.
At the last i covered rice and put them on low flame for ten minutes. My biryani is done for eating. I also cut cucumber and made yogurt raita for serving the biryani.
