  • Water, as needed

For the Filling:

  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced into small cubes

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Dough:

In a mixing bowl, add the flour, salt, and oil/ghee.
Rub the oil into the flour until it becomes crumbly in texture.
Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth, stiff dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and set aside for 15-20 minutes.

2. Make the Filling:

  • Add green peas and cook for another 2-3 minutes, if using.
  • Sprinkle garam masala, mix, and let it cool.

3. Shape and Fill the Singaras:

  • Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small circle.
  • Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of the dough circle.
  • Fold and pinch the edges to form a unique shape, making sure they’re sealed
    well.

4. Cook the Singaras:

Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.
Fry the singaras over medium heat until golden brown and crisp.
