Happy Sunday Hivers how are you? Today it's not raining here but it's very cold, I took my usual walk in the village and it was really cold!
This is why today I decided to cook a nice winter and invigorating dish.
This is also a traditional dish from my region but not really from my area. Here in Tuscany we love stewed dishes, tomato puree is never missing at home.
For this recipe you will need:
- 100 grams of broccoli
- 500 ml of tomato puree
- 1 onion
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 3 tablespoons of salt
- 4 sausages
Let's deal with the broccoli first! Clean them well and cut the tops, throwing away the stem, cut the florets and put them aside for later.

Feliz domingo Hivers ¿cómo están? Hoy no llueve aquí pero hace mucho frío, hice mi paseo habitual por el pueblo y ¡hacía mucho frío! Por eso hoy he decidido preparar un bonito plato invernal y tonificante.
Este también es un plato tradicional de mi región, pero no realmente de mi zona.
Aquí en Toscana nos encantan los platos guisados, el puré de tomate nunca falta en casa.
Para esta receta necesitarás:
- 100 gramos de brócoli
- 500 ml de puré de tomate
- 1 cebolla
- 3 cucharadas de aceite
- 3 cucharadas de sal
- 4 salchichas
¡Vamos a ocuparnos primero del brócoli! Límpialas bien y córtales las puntas, tirando el tallo, corta los floretes y resérvalos para después.
Then we prepare a large pan or pot with a spoonful of oil. Take the onion, peel it carefully and cut it into fine pieces, add it to the pan and brown it for two or three minutes. Let's take a pan where we put the broccoli to fry with a spoonful of oil.
Let them fry for about 7/8 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the sausages, clean them from the casing and cut them into medium-sized pieces, add them to the pan with the onions and cook for about 7/8 minutes, stirring often. At this point we add the broccoli and the puree immediately afterwards, with the remaining oil, salt everything and mix and cook for about half an hour, stirring often.
Then our delicious stewed broccoli and sausage will be ready to be served, preferably accompanied by a good slice of bread or a nice oil sandwich, like we did! Enjoy your meal!!!

Luego preparamos una sartén u olla grande con una cucharada de aceite. Coge la cebolla, pélala con cuidado y córtala en trozos finos, añádela a la sartén y dórala durante dos o tres minutos. Cogemos una sartén donde ponemos a sofreír el brócoli con una cucharada de aceite.
Déjalas sofreír unos 7/8 minutos. Mientras tanto, prepara las salchichas, límpialas de la tripa y córtalas en trozos medianos, añádelas a la sartén con la cebolla y cocina durante unos 7/8 minutos, revolviendo con frecuencia.
En este punto añadimos el brócoli y el puré inmediatamente después, con el aceite restante, salamos todo y mezclamos y cocinamos durante una media hora aproximadamente, revolviendo con frecuencia. Entonces nuestro delicioso guiso de brócoli y salchicha estará listo para servir, preferiblemente acompañado de una buena rebanada de pan o un buen bocadillo de aceite, ¡como hicimos nosotros! ¡¡¡Disfrute de su comida!!!

El brocoli es muy rico, en combinación con este tipo de salchicha se debe disfrutar mucho. Se ve rico y con un pan tostado debe ser aún más rico para botanear.
