RE: Torta de Cumpleaños para mi hija, ¡full chocolate! / Birthday cake for my daughter, full of chocolate!

Well, we usually say just "všechno nejlepší", which means "all the best" or the longer version is "všechno nejlepší k narozeninám", which is "all the best to your birthday" :)

Sort:

😳 oh my God 😬 that sounds unpronounceable 🥴 🤭🤭
In Greece we say "Χρόνια πολλά " (Jronia polá) which means "many years" and we also say " Ότι επιθυμείς " (óti epithimís) which is "everything you wish" and "Να τα εκατοστήσεις " ( na ta ekatostisis) (I wish you to reach a hundred years old "

So you can still speak Greek? Wow, that´s impressive :) Thanks for this little insight into Greek birthday wishes :D That one with hundred years is what Poles, our northern neighbors, say too. They say "sto lat" which simply means "hundred years" :)

You're welcome 🤗. Glad you liked it. Hahaha, of course, I write, read and speak greek, we speak greek at home, and my parents are both greek and we have always keep the language at home. 😺🤘🤗

Wow! Then you speak at least 3 languages: Greek, Spanish and English :) Impressive!

Hehehe, well, yes, thank you 😺 I'm fortunate to have learn greek since I was a baby-kid because it's a very difficult language to learn if you want to studying it 🥴😬 most of all because it's a different alphabeth and that's like when you start to read and write, a new beggining, also the pronunciation isn't easy at all. English is the easiest language, spanish is a very rich and beautiful language. I want now to learn French and maybe Japanese 😁 You speak Czech and English, right?

Wow, ambitious plans :) But I like it, languages are fun and very useful :)

Me? Well, Czech is my native language. Slovakian is very very similar to Czech so I can speak this one too. Polish is a bit more different / difficult but I can understand it as well. English is what I studied and have some uni degrees in, been using it actively and daily for many years. I also speak some basic Spanish as I lived in Mexico and Spain for some time. Those are languages that I can communicate in (somehow :D) and then there are languages that I also studied but only for one or two semesters like French, Russian, German or Latin but I remember just some random words / phrases from these languages so these definitely don´t count :D

😲😳
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And then you say that it's impressive I speak three languages? 😂😂😂
🤔 You speak how many? Five, six? Wow, that's amazing 👍
Well, there's one language I understand very very well and it's portuguese but brazilian portuguese (I don't like how they speak in Portugal hahaha), because I used to watch the brazilian channel on TV, I love brazilian TV soaps hehehe, the best TV soaps. I can understand a lot of Italian, too, it's easy when you speak Spanish 😜 😎
