Hola a todos, aunque normalmente no soy de estar mucho en la cocina, es verdad que de vez en cuando me gusta hacer un aporte y probar alguna que otra receta que encuentro mientras veo algún video. La que les traigo hoy es una receta brasileña, que cada vez que la pruebo en mi trabajo me encanta, es por eso que decidí buscarla y hacérsela a mi familia.
Su nombre es Strogonoff de pollo y es un plato que ya forma parte de la cocina brasileña. Para preparala vamos a necesitar los siguentes ingredientes:
- pechuga de pollo troceada
- ajo
- cebolla
- sal
- pimienta molida
- papikra
- puré de tomate
- ketchup
- mostaza
- crema de leche
Hello everyone, although I'm not usually much in the kitchen, it is true that from time to time I like to make a contribution and try some recipe that I find while watching a video. The one I bring you today is a Brazilian recipe, that every time I try it at work I love it, that's why I decided to look for it and make it for my family.
Its name is Chicken Strogonoff and it is a dish that is already part of the Brazilian cuisine. To prepare it we will need the following ingredients:
- chopped chicken breast
- garlic
- onion
- salt
- ground pepper
- papikra
- tomato puree
- ketchup
- mustard
- milk cream

Cuando fui a hacer la receta me di cuenta que no contaba con pechuga de pollo en casa, en su lugar utilicé el pollo que tenía y lo corté como mejor pude para que quedara en pequeños pedazos.
Como primer paso echamos aceite en una cazuela y ponemos a sofreír el ajo y la cebolla, luego echamos el pollo troceado y lo revolvemos todo.
When I went to make the recipe I realized that I did not have chicken breast at home, instead I used the chicken I had and cut it as best I could so that it was in small pieces.
As a first step we put oil in a casserole and fry the garlic and onion, then we add the chopped chicken and stir everything.

Ahora es el momento de poner la sal, la pimienta y la paprika, también puedes agregar otros sazones si prefieres. Le vamos dando varias vueltas hasta que veamos un color doradito en el pollo, incluso si se pega un poco al fondo de la cazuela no hay problema, ya que esto mejora el sabor.
Now it is time to add salt, pepper and paprika, you can also add other seasonings if you prefer. We are going to give several turns until we see a golden color in the chicken, even if it sticks a little to the bottom of the pan no problem, as this improves the flavor.

Después le agregamos un poco de agua para que se cocine y no nos quede crudo y dejamos que se seque totalmente.

En este punto echamos el puré de tomte, el ketchup y la mostaza, lo revolvemos y luego apagamos la candela y colocamos la crema de leche, que es el ingrediente especial que le da el sabor tan delicioso que caracteriza a esta receta. Y listo, ya está listo el strogonoff de pollo.

Para acompañar esta receta lo hacemos con arroz blanco y papitas fritas, al mejor estilo brasileño, aunque también quise acompañarla con una ensalada de pepinos.
To accompany this recipe we serve it with white rice and french fries, in the best Brazilian style, although I also wanted to accompany it with a cucumber salad.

El resultado fue muy satisfactorio, obtuve bastantes elogios por parte de mi familia, sobre todo de mi abuela, pues ese día no tuvo que cocinar 😅. La verdad es que quedó delicioso, aunque tengo que mejorar mucho, al compararlo con el que he probado en mi trabajo debo decir que es mucho más sabroso que el mío, también pude haberle agregado un poco más de color. Pero a fin de cuentas quedó bastante bien para ser la primera vez intentando esta receta, con certeza me gustaría repetirla.
The result was very satisfactory, I got quite a lot of compliments from my family, especially from my grandmother, since she didn't have to cook that day 😅. The truth is that it turned out delicious, although I have to improve a lot, when comparing it with the one I have tasted at my work I must say that it is much tastier than mine, I could have also added a little more color. But all in all it turned out pretty good for the first time I tried this recipe, I would certainly like to repeat it.
