SUNAMI - Fake Blood - Guitar Cover

in Guitarlast year (edited)

Another week, another new guitar cover from the goblin skeleton man. This one is definitely a bit of an odd choice probably, as this is a guitar cover of me playing a bands cover of another bands song. Some straight up Inception level shit. I chose to stick with covering this version and not the OG version though (Which is from a band in the early 2000's called Animosity), as this one was my first introduction to the song and it has an entirely different sound and vibe than the OG version. For those of you who follow me for my non guitar content, I'm sure I'll have a post or two up sometime soon of something else. But, for now just give me that sweet, tasty upvote and enjoy the video. Cmon, now. Don't hold out on me, baby. Don't make me come into your room and hit you over the head with my guitar.

Until next time, my doods. Later!

Keep on rocking!

I have been known to cover covers of songs as sometimes bands take the song in a different direction that prefer. That has happened a couple of times with songs I heard Fun Lovin' Criminals do.

Thanks, buddy!

Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Just seems a bit silly when you actually realize the concept of what you're doing, haha. This song is definitely quite different in tone and overall style/genre and takes it more into modern slam/hardcore direction. The OG song is more a mix of early deathcore and old school 90s death metal.

Sometimes the cover is bigger than the original. How many people play the Hendrix version of All Along the Watchtower compared to Bob Dylan's original? For a long time I didn't even know it was his song.
