RE: Prairie Surfing - A Straturday Improvisation

Yes very true, I wonder if it will take. However, I'm not entirely sure it is is rose wood, could be nato or mahogany. It seems quite dry and quite a light brown colour. It still looks great, just compared to my 2016 Les Paul, this 2000 model looks like the neck is way lighter

Sort:

Ah if its gibson it might some kind of roasted mahogany, how valuable is the guitar? If cheap you might just try it on one fret area

It's an Epiphone Les Paul Custom. I got this one for $320 NZD (around $210 USD?) so pretty cheap! It plays great too, sounds awesome. I do have a Gibson LP Classic but it is in storage in England! I have many lovely guitars stored in England. The cost to ship them here to NZ is quite high.. hence forming a mini collection here :)

x2 Les Paul Custsoms (one 2016 custom pro and one 2000 made in korea)
x1 LTD M10 juiced up with seymour duncans
x1 LTD SN200
x1 Cheap Chinese acoustic that I've had for years and travelled everywhere with!:)

in storage have a lovely Ibanez rg620, Gibson LP Classic, Jackson RR5, Tanglewood acoustic and a Columbus Crest (80's strat copy)

Ah if its a les paul epiphone give it a try. I suspect it might be a pau ferro fretboard.
