BIG PROTEST : Why governments decided to use money of retired people ?!

Recently in Russia the government decided to increase the age for all citizens to be retired. So, they decided to add 5 years to both women and men. Now women will retire at the age of 60 instead of 55 and men at the age of 65 instead of 60. That's why this news is hot in Russia, because nobody likes to retire later, especially if he/she works in a hard work.

Even though the amount of payment retired people get is not a lot and that starts from about $150 and it's really hard to live or I would like to say stay alive in Russia with $150 a month. Of course some people may have better retirement and that's up to $300 if they worked in a fancy work, but even that money will not make people that happy in their old life.

Then I started to watch news about retirement in other countries and it seems to me that the situation is the same in all of them. For example in France big protests were done against the retirement reform and they're still doing their best to stand together against that. They are even blocking all the streets. Not letting the metro work. Fighting with the police. And even younger generation, because they care about their future and about their grand monthers and fathers. Old people should be respected in the world.

For example on December 5th 85% of train drivers protested by organising a strike. People had to take alternative transport to move somewhere. Buses were over-crowded and the roads were full of people walking in the streets stopping all the infrastructure.

But no matter what people are doing, their president Emmanuel Macron is not willing to listen to them. He doesn't want to drop the age of retirement. And the official retirement age will be and stay 62 years old and that's the lowest in Europe.

I don't think that the government will care that much about those protests. Maybe they will change some little things to calm down the crowd. But, in the end they will do what they wanted or something close to that.

French people created a lot of tags in twitter sharing all their troubles and fight with police. But, there are some people even from the goverment fighting all those changes. Someone like Mathilde Panot who said everything she thinks about the situation. She said all what citizens want without fear. You can watch it in this video :

The video is with French subtitles, but you can translate that if you want.

She said a lot of things like : ''You are not a government but an association that stealing money from citizens ... ''. She said as well : ''You don't look at the billions of euros you use to put in your pockets ...''. And a lot of things nobody could say out loud in the parliament. She is a hero.

I even noticed that some accounts were suspended like this guy : https://twitter.com/p_parodietv who was recoding what's happenig in the streets. So, there is even a censorship in twitter and in other social media against this movement. That's why I created this post to support the initiative of @theycallmedan about writing in steem about protests in the world. To let people join us here and feel free to share all the truth without being afraid to be censored. This is how we all promote steem in #promo-steem. You can check the details about the initiative here : World Unrest Awareness Initiative.

So, I'm thinking now. Should we count on the government and pay those taxes without knowing whether we will survive till our retirement or not. And even if we do, will the age be increased to 100 to retire. lol Who will live that much anyway.

I feel that the governments decided to use money of retired people and I don't know why. I didn't check other countries, but it seems that the situation is the same in all of them. Maybe they are running out of money and they don't have enough to live the fancy life they are living. Or they just don't want the old people to live. I don't know.

Do you think that there is a conspiracy theory that's related with eliminating old people from the planet? I mean, we will all get old and we all will face the issue. Not all people are investors and not all of them are rich to assure their life from a solid business they have.

Maybe that's another reason we're all excited about cryptocurrency and we don't want to be stuck to fiat money for our entire life. That's why we should invite more people to steem, to create here and grow their steem power as an investment in their future instead of keeping being slaves to their governments.

It's the table of the retirement age in a few countries. The problem is that age is always increased with time. As you see in the table it's going to 70 years old and I think that's a lot of work till that age. Especially with the environment we live in and the food we eat. The situation for old people seems to be just worse. I feel sorry for them.

In the following picture you can see as well the reasons why people are concerned about retirement :

Of course ''Declining physical health'' is the most to worry about. It's so rare to see someone very healthy in an old age.

That's another reason for all of us to take care of our health. We should do our best to stay fit. To smoke less and to drink less alcohol and to eat healthy food. That's why moving to a vegan diet was that easy for me and I'm thankful to have such wife who is caring about that. It's also good to surround ourselves with the right people to be happy. Happiness also improves our health.

Please share this, or create a topic about retired people in all the world to let them know that we all feel for them and that they have an alternative way to retire and that's to jump into crypto world and they can start by joining steem.

Thanks for reading and supporting my work.

Only 300 dollars in Russia? Wow. Here in Belgium it’s about 1300 euro or something. Probably more. Of course life in Russia is probably cheaper?

I know man. That's how we live here. Europe is heaven comparing to Russia. But, as you see we survive. Russians don't even have time to protest and they work hard. Maybe they know that nothing gonna change anyway. Life is not that cheap. I pay for example about $100 bills every single month. Plus taxes and all things. It's not that big money, I mean $300 to be able to live very well. Some pay that just for the apartment. I don't even imagine being old in Russia. I'm maybe a bit far from that, I'm 35 almost. But, anyway, we have to have alternatives and don't count on retirement.

You have Steem as a good income. If you make like 17 dollars every day with your videos, which is not impossible for you, that will be 500 dollars a month! That’s a lot. :)

IF Steem price rises, you will be earning even more.
