Like yourself I believe in the world changing potential of Steem. And I will do just about anything to help Steem realize that potential, including pissing of team bernie / markymark who I see as the prime movers on the platform and whom need to be held accountable for their atrocious behaviour. I know thee are many more of their ilk here, they are just the most prominent and prolific abusers.
The first flag I received here was for voicing my concern regarding the introduction of Vote Selling and Selling leases of SP.
Right now, we do not even have a growing user base. The reasons for this should be blindingly obvious to anyone who cares to look at what is and has been going on here for years. Decisive action is required if we are to turn this place around. Making Steem more attractive to more Predatory Investors will only ensure our own demise. This is the aim behind reducing the power down time. No we must not allow this to happen.
The power of Steem will come from spreading Steem as Widely and as Deeply as we possible can. Nothing else will work.
It should be perfectly clear to everyone by now that, Stake Based Witness Selection, is having disastrous consequences for Steem.
Under this regime (regime definition: a government, especially an authoritarian one) people like myself are censored for exposing the corruption and deceit of themarkymark while he is still a top twenty witness and thriving!
I was told more than two years ago that the dark forces here are NSA. The guy who told me is a spook and he was on spook business at the time. Its an interesting story I should make a post about it.
We need to find a way to wrestle control away from them. I would suggest changing the process for top twenty witness selection to a democratic process.

Go back and have a look at the original post made by bernie (been deleted so you will need some skills to find the original) with the doctored screenshot taken from Steemworld, supplied by @themarkymark claiming that @haejin was taking 2% of the reward pool when it was 0.2% all in pursuit of a fake flag war. It turns out the that @haejin is more than likely one of bernies accounts anyway! WTF If you look at the history @haejin and @ranchorelaxo started to flag users a few days after bernie stopped flagging them. Two examples @transisto and @perpairedwomabt there will be more examples if you look.
Then I call @themarkymark out for that bullshit and he produces another piece of bullshit claiming that he said it was 6% and the guy who made the tool got the math wrong! Is there no end to the depths these people will not sink to? I even had a comment from @enforcer48 a month or so ago also recalling the 2% post.
