Yeah, definitely they can be hazardous as they convey what is not the case but the case which generates massive confusions and is capable of getting led into big incidents which could have been easily averted. The fact is RUMOURS are capable to disturb almost any aspect in our lives.

Yeah absolutely, most probably it's is the case in the current situation too as we see a lot of panic kinda thing which is slowly settling down.
