Hola, amigos de Hive en Cuba.
Hoy vengo a compartirles algunas de las fotos de mi participación en la Feria del Libro en Las Tunas.
Hasta el día de hoy, puedo decirles que este año en esta provincia se hizo la mejor inauguración de Feria de todas en la que he estado. Y eso se debe, principalmente a dos momentos:
Las palabras inaugurales de la escritora María Liliana Celorrio. Ella, con esa naturalidad y talento para la palabra, fue leyendo unas palabras de elogios, rememoración, homenaje y denuncia, que más que eso parecía un hechizo. Al menos, así nos tenía a todos, hechizados y emocionados al escuchar tantos nombres célebres y queridos. Tanta verdad en sus palabras.
Y la maestría y magia de Ernesto Parra con su increíble Teatro Tuyo. Quien no necesitó decir una palabra para decir mucho. Mucho: alto y claro. Ernesto demostró que se puede hacer mucho arte y bueno en Las Tunas y que debemos luchar por ello, por nuestra libertad de creación. Y por mucho más.
Las lecturas en la AHS fueron una oportunidad única para presentar nuevas y viejas voces al público de la ciudad.

Inauguré un nuevo espacio en la Biblioteca Provincial dedicado a los jóvenes. Aquí me reencontré con libros icónicos en mi infancia e inicios de mi carrera literaria, como Espacio Abierto, de Chely Lima y Alberto Serret.
Fue un espacio para hablar de la magia, la literatura y la magia de la literatura.
Se realizaron hermosas presentaciones de libros infantiles en el Parque Maceo. Aquí vi la magia de atestiguar cómo un escritor para niños le firmaba sus libros a sus verdaderos lectores: los propios niños.
Y luego terminar todos tomando un excelente café en el Café Real!
Por la tarde del Sábado, acudimos al Museo Provincial al espacio Sábado de Concierto, con mi querida @elviguitarra.
El cierre de la Feria tuvo como último espacio a Flores del Alma, donde no solo hubo excelentes presentaciones de libros por amigos como Jorge García Prieto y Yadián Carbonell (Poe Cid y el Tiza, respectivamente) Ambos dieron una verdadera clase de cómo se presenta un libro.
De ahí que Elvira y Martica quisieran tomarse fotos con el autor y presentador estrella de la jornada.
Y, para mi gran alegría, el cierre del espacio estuvo coronado por la Premiación del concurso Antonio Borrego, donde mi amiga Dayislenis Velázquez obtuvo ¡el gran premio!
Sin duda alguna, para mí la feria fue magnífica. Presenté libros y conduje espacios. Pero lo mejor de todo fue el reencuentro con los amigos. Eso no tiene ni precio ni comparación.

Today I'm here to share some photos from my participation in the Las Tunas Book Fair.
To this day, I can tell you that this year, this province had the best opening of any book fair I've ever attended. And that's mainly due to two moments:
Opening remarks by writer María Liliana Celorrio. With such ease and talent for words, she read words of praise, remembrance, homage, and condemnation, which seemed more than anything like a spell. At least, that's how she held us all, spellbound and moved by the mention of so many famous and beloved names. So much truth in her words.
And the mastery and magic of Ernesto Parra with his incredible Teatro Tuyo. He didn't need to say a word to say so much. So much: loud and clear. Ernesto showed that a lot of good art can be made in Las Tunas, and that we must fight for it, for our freedom of creation. And for so much more.
The readings at AHS were a unique opportunity to introduce new and old voices to the city's public.

I inaugurated a new space in the Provincial Library dedicated to young people. Here I revisited iconic books from my childhood and early literary career, such as Open Space, by Chely Lima and Alberto Serret.
It was a space to talk about magic, literature, and the magic of literature.
Beautiful children's book presentations were held in Maceo Park. Here I saw the magic of witnessing a children's author signing his books for his true readers: the children themselves.
And then finish it all off with a great coffee at Café Real!
On Saturday afternoon, we went to the Provincial Museum to the Saturday Concert space, with my dear @elviguitarra.
The closing ceremony of the Fair featured Flores del Alma, which not only featured excellent book presentations by friends like Jorge García Prieto and Yadián Carbonell (Poe Cid and El Tiza, respectively). Both gave a true lesson in how to present a book.
That's why Elvira and Martica wanted to take photos with the author and star presenter of the day.
And, to my great joy, the closing of the space was crowned by the Antonio Borrego contest awards ceremony, where my friend Dayislenis Velázquez won the grand prize!
Without a doubt, for me the fair was magnificent. I presented books and hosted events. But the best of all was reuniting with friends. That's priceless and incomparable.
