Hola amigos de Hive!, me alegra estar una vez más por aquí compartiéndoles algunas de mis vivencias. Esta vez voy a hablarles sobre los 49 Juegos Interfacultades Guamá, que cada año se celebran en la Universidad de Pinar del Río "Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca", mi centro de estudios actualmente.Aunque ya curso el tercer año de la carrera Licenciatura en Derecho, siempre es una nueva experiencia la llegada de estos juegos deportivos, y aunque yo no soy muy Dada a practicar deportes, siempre doy mi granito de arena animando a los que si se atreven, principalmente apoyando a mi facultad.

Hello friends of Hive!, I am glad to be here once again sharing some of my experiences. This time I am going to talk to you about the 49 Guamá Interfaculty Games, which are held every year at the University of Pinar del Río "Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca", my current study center. Although I am already in the third year of my Bachelor's degree in Law , the arrival of these sports games is always a new experience, and although I am not very fond of playing sports, I always do my bit by encouraging those who dare, mainly supporting my faculty.
El día de hoy se realizó la inauguración de los juegos, en la Sala Polivalente de la Provincia, como cada año ya es costumbre. Me encanta ese ambiente, pues todos están felices y eufóricos, con los pullovers representativos y las mascotas que se asignan a cada facultad estudiantil. Este año los juegos están dedicados al eterno líder estudiantil y fundador de la Federacion Estudiantil Universitaria (FEU), Julio Antonio Mella, quien naciera un 25 de marzo de 1903, fecha en la que dimos inicio a los juegos.

Today the inauguration of the games took place in the Multipurpose Room of the Province, as is customary every year. I love that atmosphere, because everyone is happy and euphoric, with the representative pullovers and the mascots that are assigned to each student faculty. This year the games are dedicated to the eternal student leader and founder of the University Student Federation (FEU), Julio Antonio Mella, who was born on March 25, 1903, the date on which we began the games.
En la inauguración se presentan todas las facultades de la universidad por filas, las que reciben Vítores y aplausos por parte de todos. Además, se presentan algunas manifestaciones, gimnasia, danza..como parte de la gala cultural que se hace de conjunto.
Desde bien temprano en la mañana estaba con mis amigos allí, deseosos de que comenzara y darles nuestro mayor apoyo a nuestra facultad, la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, que integran las carrera de Derecho, Gestión Sociocultural para el Desarrollo y Lenguas Extranjeras. Ocupamos una gran porción de una de las gradas de aquella sala, junto a profesores de estas carreras. Se respiraba un ambiente de diversión y alegría, y cuando fue presentada nuestra facultad nos alegramos y aplaudimos con gran entusiasmo.

At the inauguration, all the faculties of the university are presented in rows, which receive cheers and applause from everyone. In addition, some demonstrations, gymnastics, dance... are presented as part of the cultural gala that is held together.
Very early in the morning I was there with my friends, eager for it to begin and to give our greatest support to our faculty, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, which integrates the degrees of Law, Sociocultural Management for Development and Foreign Languages. We occupied a large portion of one of the stands in that room, along with professors of these careers. There was an atmosphere of fun and joy, and when our faculty was presented we were happy and applauded with great enthusiasm.
Entre los juegos que se realizan, está el béisbol femenino y masculino, así como el fútbol, el fútbol sala, el dominó, el ajedrez, la maratón deportiva...entre muchos otros. La verdad es un momento del año para refrescar un poco del estrés universitario y una buen oportunidad para unirnos entre amigos y disfrutar, ya que los juegos deportivos se extienden durante una semana, dónde las clases tienen menos duración y pierden protagonismo.

Among the games that are played, there is women's and men's baseball, as well as soccer, indoor soccer, dominoes, chess, sports marathon... among many others. The truth is that it is a time of year to refresh some of the university stress and a good opportunity to unite with friends and enjoy, since the sports games last for a week, where classes are shorter and lose prominence.
Al concluir la inauguración, la que se llevó casi toda la mañana, nos dieron un tiempo para almorzar y retomar fuerzas pues en la tarde comenzaba la competición entre las facultades. Mi amigas y yo, el día de hoy no competíamos en ningún juego, no así como lo varones, que sí competían en el béisbol contra la Facultad de Ciencias Técnicas, por lo que decidimos ir a animarlos y darles un poco de nuestro apoyo.
El juego se desarrolló en un terreno, dónde a pesar de nos estar muy creadas las condiciones, allí nos mantuvimos bajo el sol. Lamentablemente no ganamos el juego de hoy, salieron victoriosos los representantes de la otra facultad, pero sí disfrutamos del juego, gritando lemas y pasando un rato diferente entre amigos.

At the end of the inauguration, which took almost the entire morning, we were given time to have lunch and regain our strength because in the afternoon the competition between the faculties began. Today, my friends and I were not competing in any games, not like the boys, who were competing in baseball against the Faculty of Technical Sciences, so we decided to go cheer them on and give them a little of our support.
The game took place on a field, where despite the conditions not being very created, we remained there under the sun. Unfortunately we did not win today's game, the representatives of the other faculty were victorious, but we did enjoy the game, shouting slogans and having a different time with friends.
