La semana pasada fue muy buena en cuanto a promoción literaria para mi último libro publicado en Cuba: "Escalera de mar", ya les he dejado noticias relacionadas al lanzamiento del libro a fines del 2023 y las nominaciones a premios que ha ido teniendo. Ahora lo que toca en plan estratégico es la constante promoción de la obra a través de todos los medios posibles, por ello agradezco a los implicados y me hago eco del proceso. Todo un placer para mí compartir con los amigos de Hive.
Last week was very good in terms of literary promotion for my latest book published in Cuba: "Escalera de mar", I have already left you news related to the launch of the book at the end of 2023 and the award nominations it has been receiving. Now what matters in a strategic plan is the constant promotion of the work through all possible means, for which I thank those involved and echo the process. A real pleasure for me to share with Hive friends.
Lo primero fue la promo 🎥 en TV 🖥️ a mi nuevo libro 📚 "Escalera de mar" 🌅, en el estudio de Tele Turquino, cadena provincial de mi Santiago de Cuba. Agradecida 🤗 con el escritor, investigador y guionista Rodolfo Tamayo Castellanos por la invitación.

Sinopsis del libro
Es un libro conformado por historias que buscan relacionar al ser humano con su mundo interior, con las demás personas y con el tiempo que les ha tocado vivir. Las narraciones están constituidas por personajes que construyen su realidad a partir de experiencias cotidianas, y que no obstante, se vuelven trascendentes por contener elementos de ficción que enriquecen la trama. El lector de estas páginas encontrará valores éticos y estéticos fundamentados en sentimientos, emociones y pensamientos que forman parte de la propia existencia.
En "Escalera de mar", las clases de instancias narrativas presentan una correcta estructura entre el narrador y lo narrado. Se puede hablar también de narraciones que presentan argumentos en los que se establecen valores evaluativos que conllevan a una posición ética o moral, según el caso. En las historias los personajes poseen identidades continuas a lo largo del tiempo y se identifican por relaciones causales. Los cuentos, caracterizados generalmente por su brevedad, poseen un comienzo y un final bien determinados; esto indica que la narración ha sido constituida a partir de una construcción coherente en cuanto a lo psicológico, lo social y lo cultural, partiendo desde lo individual para hacer lo colectivo dentro de lo que se narra.

Book synopsis
It is a book made up of stories that seek to relate human beings with their inner world, with other people and with the time in which they have lived. The narratives are made up of characters who build their reality from everyday experiences, and who nevertheless become transcendent by containing fictional elements that enrich the plot. The reader of these pages will find ethical and aesthetic values based on feelings, emotions and thoughts that are part of one's own existence.
In "Sea Staircase", the classes of narrative instances present a correct structure between the narrator and what is narrated. We can also speak of narratives that present arguments in which evaluative values are established that lead to an ethical or moral position, as the case may be. In stories, characters have continuous identities over time and are identified by causal relationships. Stories, generally characterized by their brevity, have a well-defined beginning and end; This indicates that the narrative has been constituted from a coherent construction in terms of the psychological, the social and the cultural, starting from the individual to make the collective within what is narrated.
El periódico "Escambray" se hizo eco también este fin de semana de las nuevas buenas para Ediciones Luminaria.
"Escalera de mar" significó varios "por primera vez", sobre todo para mí, cosa que me ha impuesto retos de parada alta, como los que acostumbro...
1- Fue el primer libro de cuentos para adultos que hice saliéndome de mi zona de confort escritural. Me lancé a un nuevo género literario sin proponérmelo, sin buscarlo... La cosa comenzó con este cuaderno, pero ha seguido, y ha seguido haciendo lo suyo, no en silencio, así que pronto tendrán nuevas noticias de lo que ha provocado "Escalera de mar".
2- Significó mi primer premio literario ganado en Cuba: el "Casatintas", 2021, otorgado por la Ahs Sancti Spíritus cuyo jurado estuvo presidido nada más y nada menos que por Alberto Garrandés, un gran escritor cubano al que admiro y admiré desde siempre. Pero, lo mejor de ese premio fue que marcó las pautas hacia provechosas relación de trabajo que han quedado para el futuro. Alberto, maestro, gracias por ese pórtico tan "tú" a mi libro, todo un honor para mí.
3- "Escalera de mar" fue el inicio de un camino hacia la sanación. Una cura que ya se anunciaba inmediata. Los amigos cercanos saben de lo que hablo, y, si bien todavía en esta primera entrega no se nota demasiado el exorcismo, ya entenderán de lo que hablo cuando salga el próximo, remanente de este mar...
4- Significó el primer libro digital publicado por este sello. Sé cuánto cuesta lograr el salto, aceptar los nuevos tiempo, los retos que hay que vencer sí o sí; la actualidad se impone, y no es una opción el dejar que te aplaste. Gracias por darle la confianza a mi libro para esta primera vez, y sobre todo, GRACIAS POR DEPOSITAR ESA FE INFINITA AL CREERLO COMPETENTE PARA LA NOMINACIÓN AL PREMIO NACIONAL DE LA CRÍTICA ESTE AÑO (ah, miren, otra "primera vez", nunca antes había sido nominada a ese premio, ya para mí es suficiente con la nominación, agradecida).

"Sea ladder" meant several "for the first time", especially for me, which has imposed on me high-stop challenges, like the ones I'm used to...
1- It was the first book of stories for adults that I did outside of my scriptural comfort zone. I launched myself into a new literary genre without intending to, without looking for it... The thing began with this notebook, but it has continued, and has continued doing its thing, not in silence, so soon you will have new news about what "Escalera" has caused of sea".
2- It meant my first literary prize won in Cuba: the "Casatintas", 2021, awarded by the Ahs Sancti Spíritus whose jury was chaired by none other than Alberto Garrandés, a great Cuban writer whom I have always admired and admired. But, the best thing about that award was that it set the guidelines for profitable working relationships that have remained for the future. Alberto, teacher, thank you for that "you" portico to my book, a real honor for me.
3- "Sea Staircase" was the beginning of a path towards healing. A cure that was already announced immediately. Close friends know what I'm talking about, and, although in this first installment the exorcism is not very noticeable, they will understand what I'm talking about when the next one comes out, remnant of this sea...
4- It was the first digital book published by this label. I know how much it costs to make the leap, to accept the new times, the challenges that must be overcome no matter what; Current events prevail, and letting it crush you is not an option. Thank you for trusting my book for this first time, and above all, THANK YOU FOR DEPOSITING THAT INFINITE FAITH BY BELIEVING IT COMPETENT FOR THE NOMINATION FOR THE NATIONAL CRITICS AWARD THIS YEAR (ah, look, another "first time", never before had been nominated for that award, the nomination is enough for me, grateful).
Y, bueno, así va la cosa con mi 5to libro de cuentos... De seguro habrán otras "primeras veces" para este título por el cual siento un profundo cariño. Gracias por leer y acompañar mi felicidad 😊.
