Hola amigos de @HIVE y en especial a la comunidad @HiveCuba, espero que todos estén bien como siempre, al igual que sus familiares y amigos. En el día de hoy paso por acá para compartir con ustedes un poco de mi día a día, que no es muy diferente al de todos los cubanos, pero bueno, a veces hay que hacer alguna que otra cosita que cambie nuestra rutina y si nuestra economía también lo permite por supuesto.
Hace algunos días, fue el cumpleaños de mi hermano menor, y digo menor, pues es que en realidad lo es, pues le llevo exactamente 14 años de edad ja, ja, ja, nada que fue como dice el buen cubano el último tiro al blanco que hizo mi mamá ja, ja, ja, si me lee me mata ja, ja, ja, bueno el caso es que el día 6 de enero, día también de los Reyes Magos, mi hermano cumplió sus 22 años, y tal parece que fue ayer cuando estaba pequeñito y entre pañales.
Recuerdo que en aquella etapa yo solo tenía 14 años, y la verdad que fue algo inesperado, pues mi mamá yo creo que nunca pensó que después de tanto tiempo, como dice el buen cubano volvería a empezar de nuevo, ni yo tampoco pensé tener un hermano más pequeño, la verdad hasta me puse un poco celosa, pues me quitarían el puesto de la más pequeña ja, ja, ja, pero bueno, me acuerdo de que también fue la primera vez que brotó en mí el instinto maternal, ja, ja, ja, pues ayudaba a mi mamá a lavar pañales, cambiar sus culeros, y también ayudaba con su cuidado y alimentación. Ja, ja, ja era el juguete nuevo.
Como dice el dicho, el tiempo no pasa en vano, y ya hoy ese niño, después de tanto tiempo, ya es todo un hombre responsable, bondadoso, buen amigo, hijo, hermano y novio, y también futuro médico, pues todas sus papeles en cada una de esas facetas las ha sabido defender y ponerlos en alto, incluso a veces atrasa sus proyectos por adelantar los de los demás, algo que en los días que estamos viviendo, no muchas personas hacen y mucho menos entienden, ni tampoco quieren entender, pero él es así de auténtico. Incluso es quien despierta la niña que hay en mi interior con sus juegos y chistes y que no quiere envejecer ja, ja, ja.
En este día de su cumpleaños 22 tratamos de hacerle algo para que no pasara el día por alto, casi siempre en estas fechas importantes, aunque sea poco y con bajos recursos, y con la colaboración de todos, tratamos de hacer algo al menos para sentirnos bien y estar todos juntos, pues creo que no hay nada que enriquezca más nuestra alma que pasar estos momentos felices y en familia y hacer al cumpleañero en este día sentirse un poquito importante ja, ja, ja.
Todo fue muy sencillo, una torta, una pizza, unos refrescos, inventamos una ensalada fría que a todos nos gusta tanto y que hacía buen rato no podíamos hacer, un almuercito diferente y por supuesto algo de beber con buena música para calentar los motores ja, ja, ja. Este día estábamos celebrando doble, el cumple de mi hermano y que todo había salido bien en mi cirugía, es decir había doble motivo, así que la emoción sería más fuerte ja, ja, ja.
Sin mucho más preámbulo, todo quedó mejor de lo esperado, nos reunimos, la pasamos bien, celebramos los dos motivos y por supuesto, le dimos gracias a Dios y la vida por poder celebrar este día y en las condiciones que lo pudimos hacer y gracias también a la colaboración de todos, pues la verdad en muchos hogares hoy en día, esto no se puede hacer, pues ni siquiera para llevar un plato de comida a la mesa hay.
Celebramos en este día por los años cumplidos, por la unidad familiar, por la salud, y por poder llevar un plato a la mesa, pues sinceramente en este día habían muchos motivos por los cuales celebrar, y fundamentalmente por ver el gran hombre en el que se ha convertido mi hermano, sencillo, honesto y de buen corazón. Amigos, sin más ya me despido, espero hayan podido disfrutar de este día a través de la lectura, como lo disfrutamos nosotros. La verdad fue una jornada fenomenal. I remember that at that time I was only 14 years old, and the truth is that it was something unexpected, because my mom I think she never thought that after so long, as the good Cuban says, I would start all over again, and I never thought I would have a younger brother either, the truth is that I even got a little jealous, but well, I remember that it was also the first time that my maternal instinct sprouted in me, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, because I helped my mom to wash diapers, change her butts, and I also helped with her care and feeding. Ha, ha, ha, ha I was the new toy.
As the saying goes, time does not pass in vain, and today that child, after so much time, is already a responsible, kind, good friend, son, brother and boyfriend, and also a future doctor, because all his roles in each of these facets has been able to defend and put them up, even sometimes he delays his projects to advance those of others, something that in the days we are living, not many people do and much less understand, nor want to understand, but he is that authentic. He is even the one who awakens the little girl inside me with his games and jokes and who does not want to grow old ha, ha, ha, ha.
On this day of his 22nd birthday we tried to do something for him so that the day would not be overlooked, almost always on these important dates, even if it is little and with low resources, and with the collaboration of all, we try to do something at least to feel good and be all together, because I think there is nothing that enriches our soul more than spending these happy moments and family and make the birthday boy on this day feel a little important ha, ha, ha, ha.
Everything was very simple, a cake, a pizza, some soft drinks, we invented a cold salad that we all like so much and that we had not been able to make for a long time, a different kind of lunch and of course something to drink with good music to warm up the engines ha, ha, ha, ha. This day we were celebrating twice, my brother's birthday and that everything had gone well in my surgery, that is to say there was a double reason, so the emotion would be stronger ha, ha, ha, ha.
Without much more ado, everything turned out better than expected, we got together, we had a good time, we celebrated the two reasons and of course, we thanked God and life for being able to celebrate this day and in the conditions we were able to do it and also thanks to the collaboration of all, because the truth is that in many homes today, this can not be done, because not even to bring a plate of food to the table.
We celebrated on this day for the birthday, for the family unity, for health, and for being able to bring a plate to the table, because sincerely on this day there were many reasons to celebrate, and fundamentally to see the great man that my brother has become, simple, honest and with a good heart. Creo que ese día se celebraba más de dos motivos, jejeje. Nuestro hermano es alguien especial y realmente se merecía más que eso, las fotos quedaron bellas y la ensalada fría 😋 riquísima.
