Saludos a todos, mi nombre es Malcom Gil y este es mi primer post. Nací el 8 de octubre del 2000 en La Habana, tengo el nivel de bachiller pero tengo en planees seguirme superando. Mi familia cercana son mis abuelos maternos,mis padres y mi hermano. Me considero una persona extrovertida, me gusta jugar ajedrez, en la primaria era muy talentoso y aunque ya no juego tanto aun doy pelea.
Soy estudiante de sociología, una carrera que aunque no es lo que esperaba me ha ayudado a entender muchas cosas de la vida. Mis amigos dicen que de lo más mínimo hago un análisis super profundo. Con el tiempo llegué a la conclusión que este hábito de analizarlo casi todo puede ser beneficioso, inclusive hasta para emprender en el trabajo por cuenta propia, algo que en el futuro voy a hacer. Otro ámbito académico en el que me gustaría investigar es la psicología social, algo que guarda relación con mi carrera.
Simultáneamente con la universidad estuve colaborando con un proyecto llamado CicloEcopapel, donde fabricaba papel reciclado. Experiencia que fue como otra escuela para mi y de la que estoy agradecido.
Hi everyone, my name is Malcom Gil and this is my first post. I was born on October 8th, 2000 in Havana, I have a high school level but I have plans to keep improving myself. My close family are my maternal grandparents, my parents and my brother. I consider myself an extroverted person, I like to play chess, I was very good in primary school and even though I don't play as much anymore I still give a good fight.
I am a sociology student, a career that even though it wasn't what I expected has helped me understand many things about life. My friends say that I make a super deep analysis of almost everything. I have understood that this habit of analyzing almost everything can be beneficial, even for starting my own business, something that I will do in the future. Another academic field that I would like to investigate is social psychology, something that is related to my career.
Simultaneously with the university I was collaborating with a project called CicloEcopapel, where I made recycled paper. An experience that was like another school for me and that I am grateful for.
Llegué a Hive a través de mi mamá, ella trabaja en la Sociedad Civil Patrimonio Comunidad y Medio Ambiente. Ubicada en la sede de esta organización se presentó una exposición en la que participaron algunos miembros de esta comunidad. En este evento algunas mujeres de Hive Cuba presentaron los trabajos que realizan.
Me gustan los idiomas como el inglés y el alemán. Disfruto del contacto con la naturaleza, me fascina recorrer montañas y otros lugares hermosos de la geografía cubana. Mi género literario favorito es el realismo sucio. En mi tiempo libre me acerco a estos libros, aunque últimamente en mis ratos de ocio estoy consumiendo videos que explican dinámicas económicas y de negocios.
I arrived at Hive through my mom, she works at the Civil Society Heritage Community and Environment. Located at the headquarters of this organization, an exhibition was held in which some members of this community participated. At this event, some women from Hive Cuba presented the work they do.
I like languages like English and German. I enjoy contact with nature, I love to walk through mountains and other beautiful places in Cuban geography. My favorite literary genre is dirty realism. In my free time I approach these books, although lately in my spare time I am consuming videos that explain economic and business dynamics.
Tengo muchas aficiones. La que más realizo con frecuencia es hacer ejercicios, tanto físico como levantando pesas en el banco de un gym, me gusta estar en forma. Disfruto sembrar y cosechar mis propios alimentos, siento curiosidad por la mecánica de casi cualquier medio de transporte, desde bicicletas comunes o eléctricas hasta los cohetes o los ya retirados transbbordadores espaciales. Quiero aprender algo básico sobre pistones, aros y bujías pero también acerca de las baterías, las celdas, los amperes y los watts. Por esta razón me considero un estudiante en todo momento. Cuando logro entender el funcionamiento de algo, otro universo desconocido se me revela y no me puedo quedar con las dudas. Por lo menos tengo que ver un video de Youtube que me explique el ABC.
Espero lograr grandes resultados con esta plataforma, me emociona el reto de crear contenido que resulte atractivo para una determinada comunidad. Aún no se cual será el contenido o la comunidad que más vaya a explotar en hive, pero dicen que se hace camino al andar.
I have many hobbies. The one I do most often is exercise, both physical and lifting weights at the gym, I like to be in shape. I enjoy planting and harvesting my own food, I am curious about the mechanics of almost any means of transport, from common or electric bicycles to rockets or retired space shuttles. I want to learn something basic about pistons, rings and spark plugs but also about batteries, cells, amps and watts. For this reason, I consider myself a student at all times, when I manage to understand the operation of something, another unknown universe is revealed to me and I cannot stay with the doubts. At least I have to watch a Youtube video that explains the ABC to me.
I hope to achieve great results with this platform, I am excited about the challenge of creating content that is attractive to a certain community. I still don't know what the content or community will be that I will exploit the most in hive, but they say that the way is made by walking.
