¡Cómo están Hive! Me llamo Roberto Legra, tengo 62 años, vivo en Holguín, Cuba. Y como ingeniero que soy, vengo con cemento, arena y gravilla a seguir construyendo el éxito que va teniendo el ecosistema de Hive. :)
Quiero aportar valor con mis años de experiencia (que no son pocos no) y formar parte de esta gran comunidad donde llegué y quiero quedarme.

My name is Roberto Legra, I am 62 years old, I live in Holguin, Cuba. And as an engineer, I come with cement, sand and gravel to continue building the success of the Hive ecosystem. :)
I want to contribute value with my years of experience (which are not few, no) and be part of this great community where I arrived and where I want to stay.
Infancia
Nací en Maisi, Guantánamo (la region más oriental de Cuba). Soy el tercero de 4 hermanos, desde pequeños ayudábamos a nuestros padres en la agricultura, principalmente la recogida del café.
Nuestros estudios fueron en Baracoa, a 67 km de mi casa. Alli mis padres tenían que viajar a visitarnos siempre a caballo.
Luego de pasar 3 años de servicio militar, opté por trabajar en la ECOA 19 empresa contructora, donde pasé un curso de técnico medio en presupuesto, en Holguín.
Trabajé hasta los 45 años con ese cargo, porque ¿saben qué?
Mis estudios no quedaron ahí.
Entré a un curso de superación para estudiar Ingeniería Industrial en la universidad. 🎓

Sí , es verdad, ya peinaba canas y aproveché esa oportunidad que me ofrecieron esos años. Nunca está demás.
Gracias a eso cumplí misión internacionalista en el hermano país de Venezuela 🇻🇪 a trabajar en contrucciones de porcinos. A través de una firma española.👷
I was born in Maisi, Guantanamo (the easternmost region of Cuba). I am the third of 4 siblings, since I was a child we helped our parents in agriculture, mainly picking coffee.
Our studies were in Baracoa, 67 km from my home. There my parents had to travel to visit us always on horseback.
After spending 3 years of military service, I chose to work in ECOA 19 construction company, where I passed a course of medium technician in budget, in Holguin.
I worked until I was 45 years old in that position, because you know what?
My studies did not stop there.
I entered a self-improvement course to study Industrial Engineering at the university. 🎓
- 🗣️ But man, you were almost ready to retire 👀.
Yes, it's true, I was already combing gray hair and I took advantage of the opportunity offered to me during those years. It is never too much.
Thanks to that, I went on an international mission to the brother country of Venezuela 🇻🇪 to work in the construction of pig farms. Through a Spanish firm.👷
Familia
Vivo junto a mi esposa, nuera, mi nieta y mi único hijo @legra quien me motivó y mostró la Blockchain y los beneficios que tiene la Web 3. Él es médico de Familia y es quien me tiene al tanto de las tecnologías.
Somos una familia unida, donde predominan relaciones de amor, cariño y apoyo muto.
Como dice mi hijo: "somos una familia funcional", yo digo que somos de acero.
I live with my wife, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and my only son @legra who motivated me and showed me the Blockchain and the benefits of Web 3. He is an Family doctor and is the one who keeps me up to date with technologies.
We are a close family, where relationships of love, affection and mutual support prevail.
As my son says: "we are a functional family", I say we are made of steel.
Día a Día
Actualmente me encuentro jubilado, así que ayudo en casa, cuido a mi traviesa nieta, y comparto algun cafecito con amistades que nos hacen la visita.
También soy amante de estar al día en las noticias, por eso me gusta leer la prensa.
Me gusta criar animales en mi pequeño patio.
(Ya casi es fin de año y el puerquito lo sabe)
I am currently retired, so I help around the house, take care of my naughty granddaughter, and share some coffee with friends who visit us.
I also love to keep up with the news, so I like to read the press.
I like to raise animals in my small backyard.
(It's almost the end of the year and the little pig knows it).
