Me llamo Camila Alejandra Leyva Infante y soy originaria de Bayamo, un hermoso lugar en la provincia de Granma, Cuba. Desde muy joven, he estado fascinada por el arte en todas sus formas. Esto me llevó a estudiar Historia del Arte, una carrera que me permite explorar no solo las obras maestras que han marcado pautas culturales, sino también las corrientes artísticas que han influido en la sociedad a lo largo del tiempo.
La historia del arte es más que una recopilación de fechas y eventos; es un camino hacia la comprensión de la humanidad .Me apasiona descubrir cómo las técnicas, los estilos de cada época pueden impactar mi propia obra artística. Ya sea en la pintura, donde expreso mis pensamientos y emociones a través del color y la forma, o en la escritura, donde trato de capturar historias y experiencias humanas, la historia del arte es una fuente constante de inspiración y aprendizaje para mí.
Además de mi dedicación al arte, tengo otra gran pasión: la cocina. Cocinar es para mí una forma de arte, donde se mezclan sabores y tradiciones de diferentes culturas. Me encanta explorar recetas de todo el mundo, pero tengo una conexión especial con la cocina asiática. La diversidad de ingredientes y las técnicas únicas que se emplean en esta gastronomía me fascinan , cada platillo cuenta una historia y refleja la cultura de su lugar de origen. Me gusta experimentar en la cocina, creando mis propias versiones de recetas tradicionales y compartiendo mis creaciones con amigos y familiares.
No puedo dejar de mencionar a mi diamante negro Artur Benjamín , un gato un poco "loquito", y su personalidad traviesa y curiosa me saca una sonrisa cada día. Artur es más que una mascota; es una parte integral de mi vida diaria y un recordatorio de la alegría que los animales pueden traer a nuestras vidas. Su energía desbordante me inspira a encontrar belleza en lo inesperado, algo que también busco reflejar en mi arte.
Formar parte de esta comunidad me emociona. Espero no solo compartir mis pensamientos y experiencias, sino también aprender de todos ustedes. Estoy ansiosa por ver cómo nuestras diferentes perspectivas sobre el arte y la creatividad pueden converger para crear un espacio enriquecedor y colaborativo. My name is Camila Alejandra Leyva Infante, and I am from Bayamo, a beautiful place in the Granma province of Cuba. From a very young age, I have been fascinated by art in all its forms. This passion led me to study Art History, a discipline that allows me to explore not only the masterpieces that have shaped cultural narratives but also the artistic movements that have influenced society over time.
Art history is more than just a collection of dates and events; it is a pathway to understanding humanity and its creativity. I am passionate about discovering how the techniques, styles, and ideologies of each era can impact my own artistic work. Whether through painting, where I express my thoughts and emotions through color and form, or through writing, where I strive to capture human stories and experiences, art history serves as a constant source of inspiration and learning for me.
In addition to my dedication to art, I have another great passion: cooking. For me, cooking is an art form, where flavors and traditions from different cultures come together. I love to explore recipes from around the world, but I have a special connection with Asian cuisine. The diversity of ingredients and the unique techniques used in this culinary tradition fascinate me. From Japanese sushi to Thai curry, each dish tells a story and reflects the culture of its place of origin. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, creating my own versions of traditional recipes, and sharing my creations with friends and family.
I cannot forget to mention my feline companion, Artur Benjamín. He is a somewhat "crazy" cat, and his mischievous and curious personality brings a smile to my face every day. Artur is more than a pet; he is an integral part of my daily life and a reminder of the joy that animals can bring to our lives. His overflowing energy inspires me to find beauty in the unexpected, something I also seek to reflect in my art.
Being part of this community of curators for social media publications excites me immensely. I hope not only to share my thoughts and experiences but also to learn from all of you. I am eager to see how our different perspectives on art and creativity can converge to create a rich and collaborative space. Art, like history, is an ongoing conversation; I am ready to join that conversation and contribute from my own experience.
