IntroduceMySelf: Mi primer paso dentro de HIVE [ES-EN]

Hola a todos en esta hermosa plataforma de #HIVE, me decidí a iniciar esta aventura por insistencia mi esposo @ertytux que es un apasionado de todos estos temas del mundo cripto y la #WEB3.

Soy cubana, graduada de Licenciatura en Física, cuando digo mi especialidad muchos se sorprenden, ¿que cómo llegué a decidirme por esta carrera?, al principio confieso que no me gustaba, en el primer año me fue bastante difícil pero al lograr terminarlo con éxito, ya me fue gustando todo este mundo de la Física, además que en el segundo año solo quedamos dos hembras en el grupo, casualmente mi hermana y yo, porque les comento que tengo una hermana gemela, y eso de que éramos solo dos niñas en el aula, nos gustaba que los varoncitos nos malcriaban un poco 😏.

Como les comentaba antes, tengo una hermana gemela, estuvimos juntas hasta la Universidad, por cosas de la vida estudiamos la misma carrera, hace algunos años ella decidió irse a vivir a Brasil.

Siguiendo con mi vida profesional, terminé mi maestría en ciencia y tecnología de materiales, en el instituto de ciencia y tecnología de materiales, IMRE, que pertenece a la Universidad de la Habana. Actualmente estoy haciendo un doctorado en el mismo instituto. Gracias a mi investigación he podido estar en centros de investigación en Europa, estuve en la Universidad de Edimburgo en Reino Unido, en este mismo año en junio estuve en la Universidad de Poitiers Francia. Es maravilloso poder compartir con colegas de otras universidades que investigan en temas similares y visitar los laboratorios y todo el equipamiento que tienen allí. Más adelante les comentaré con más detalles acerca de mis estancias de investigación.

Soy profesora de Física en la Universidad de Ciencias Informáticas UCI, ya llevo 20 años como docente y es increíble describir lo que se siente cuando alguien me saluda y me llama profe, que fueron mis alumnos y hoy son colegas de trabajo.

Mi familia es lo más importante, tengo dos niñas de 12 y 8 años que son mi vida, son el fruto de una relación que tengo con mi esposo de hace más de 20 años, 23 para ser más exactos, siempre nos preguntamos que quien aguanta más jaja.

Conocí a mi esposo en la Universidad y nos hicimos novios en el segundo año de la carrera, desde entonces aquí estamos. Mi niña de 12 años hace poco terminó su sexto grado es una niña muy tranquila y muy aplicada , la pequeña es el trompito de la casa, terminó segundo grado, es muy inquieta siempre está inventando, por eso ya nos ha hecho pasar algunos sustos, porque no tiene miedo a nada, de eso les puedo contar en otro momento. Mi mamá es muy importante para mí, cuando tenía 12 años mi papá nos abandonó y mi mamá se encargó de criarnos a mi y a mi hermana, cada día me imagino lo difícil que fue para ella estar sola con dos niñas, ahora que tengo mi familia entiendo todo el sacrificio que hizo mi madre para poder seguir adelante, hoy todo lo que soy se lo debo a ella, aunque no vivamos juntas todos los días hablo con ella y siempre que puedo voy a verla.

Tenemos dos perritos en casa, Tachita que está con nosotros hace cinco años y Príncipe que llegó a nosotros hace solo unos meses. De pequeña nunca había tenido una mascota, pero mis niñas aman los animales, entonces luego de tanta insistencia por parte de mis niñas les permitimos empezar con Tachita a ver que tal se portan y ya lleva con nosotros cinco años. Tachita es muy traviesa y juguetona, Príncipe es más tranquilo. Puede ver un poco de sus historias en el siguiente post The rescue of the Yellow Prince [EN-ES].

Me gusta bailar, escuchar música, ver televisión, ver películas, me gusta el género romántico y también las comedias.

He estado en las sombras en #HIVE pues aunque ahora es que hago mi cuenta y presentación siempre he estado a través de mi esposo pues le corrijo la escritura y formato de sus post 🤐. Quisiera compartir un poco de mi con todos ustedes, conocer nuevas personas y extender mis horizontes en la #web3.

Tengo la suerte, aunque no tan casual, cosas que pasan cuando alquien que conoce bien la blockchain está a mano, de ser la número 600 de esta hermosa comunidad @hivecuba.

Hello everyone on this beautiful #HIVE platform, I decided to start this adventure at the insistence of my husband @ertytux who is passionate about all these topics of the crypto world and the #WEB3.

I am Cuban, graduated with Bachelor's Degree in Physicswhen I say my specialty many are surprised, at how did I come to decide on this career?, at first I confess that I didn't like it, the first year it was quite difficult for me but when I managed to finish it successfully, I already liked this whole world of Physics, besides that in the second year there were only two females in the group, coincidentally my sister and I, because I tell you that I have a twin sister and that we were only two girls in the classroom, we liked that the boys spoiled us a little 😏.

As I mentioned before, I have a twin sister, we were together until university, for life's sake we studied the same degree, a few years ago she decided to move to Brazil.

Continuing with my professional life, I finished my master's degree in materials science and technology, at the Institute of materials science and technology, IMRE, which belongs to the University of Havana. I am currently doing a PhD at the same institute. Thanks to my research I have been able to be in research centers in Europe, I was at the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, and in this same year in June, I was at the University of Poitiers France. It is wonderful to be able to share with colleagues from other universities who are researching similar topics and visit the laboratories and all the equipment they have there. I will tell you more details about my research stays later.

I am a Physics teacher at the UCI University of Computer Sciences, I have been teaching for 20 years now and it is amazing to describe what it feels like when someone greets me and calls me a teacher, who were my students and today are work colleagues.

My family is the most important thing, I have two girls aged 12 and 8 who are my life, they are the fruit of a relationship I have with my husband of more than 20 years, 23 to be more exact, we always wonder who can stand it the most haha.

I met my husband at university and we became boyfriends in the second year of the degree, since then here we are. My 12-year-old girl recently finished her sixth grade. She is a very calm and very applied girl, the little one is at the top of the house, she finished second grade, she is very restless, she is always inventing, that's why she has already made us go through some scares because she is not afraid of anything, I can tell you about that another time. My mom is very important to me, when I was 12 years old my dad abandoned us and my mom took care of raising me and my sister, every day I imagine how difficult it was for her to be alone with two girls, now that I have my family I understand all the sacrifice my mother made to be able to move on, today I owe everything I am to her, even if we don't live together every day I talk to her and whenever I can I go to see her.

We have two little dogs at home, Tachita who has been with us for five years, and Príncipe who came to us just a few months ago. I had never had a pet as a child, but my girls love animals, so after so much insistence from my girls we allowed them to start with Tachita to see how they behave and she has been with us for five years now. Tachita is very naughty and playful, Prince is calmer. You can see a little of their stories in the following post The rescue of the Yellow Prince [EN-ES].

I like dancing, listening to music, watching TV, watching movies, I like the romance genre and also comedies.

I have been in the shadows in #HIVE because although now it is that I make my account and presentation I have always been through my husband because I correct the writing and formatting of his posts 🤐. I would like to share a little bit of myself with all of you, meet new people, and expand my horizons on the #web3.

I am lucky, although not so coincidentally, things that happen when someone who knows the blockchain well is at hand, to be the 600th of this beautiful @hivecuba community.
