Desde el año 2023 en la fecha comprendida del 10 al 11 de marzo, se realiza un sentido y sencillo homenaje póstumo a quién fue hijo ilustre de dos pequeñas comunidades Serranas que se nombran "La Guanábana" y "Cinco Palmas" del municipio sureño de Media Luna, en la oriental provincia de Granma.
Un evento modesto y poco conocido, dedicado al fotógrafo, maestro y promotor cultural Alberto Pérez Labrada "El Ojo de la Montaña" donde las barriadas más intrincadas planifican actividades recreativas para los más chicos y jóvenes.

Precisamente hace dos años ya, a través del proyecto artístico literario "El Libro y el Verso" de la Isla de la Juventud, visité la zona para grabar imágenes y un video promocional de 11 minutos el cual les comparto (si tienen tiempo) aprovechando la magia del lugar, su hermoso paisaje empinado y sus juglares, llevándo además libros de cuentos, lecturas, cine y canciones.

Cordial greetings. Since the year 2023, from March 10 to 11, there is a simple and heartfelt posthumous tribute to the illustrious son of two small Serrano communities named "La Guanábana" and "Cinco Palmas" in the southern municipality of Media Luna, in the eastern province of Granma.
A modest and little known event, dedicated to the photographer, teacher and cultural promoter Alberto Perez Labrada "El Ojo de la Montaña" where the most intricate neighborhoods plan recreational activities for children and young people.
Precisely two years ago, through the literary artistic project "The Book and the Verse" of the Isle of Youth, I visited the area to record images and a promotional video of 11 minutes which I share with you (if you have time) taking advantage of the magic of the place, its beautiful steep landscape and its minstrels, also bringing story books, readings and songs.
