Well Hello There Horsepower Lovers!!
It Would Never Be Guessed!
Absolutely never! I didn't think to spot something like this...
The amount of effort put into this thing, well I won't even know for a fact how much but I can tell you it's a hell of a lot! It's far too much if you ask me!
And I'd like to go as far and say this thing is 100% street legal... at-least with the number plates and all that it must be right?
Or the plates are there to confuse the people, either or I do not care but I do appreciate the build!
Not A Fan Of This, But I'll Slide It!
There is a reason for that though... those wheel caps are usually cromed out silver. Oh they look real good on a classic and original Beetle! They really do! Almost like it came out yesterday!
Now for the look these guys were going I'd say they did a nice job with the wheel caps and I probably shouldn't be too upset about it since those wheels caps were probably past the point of rust, most of them are.
So I'd say they did a pretty good job of it ey?
The Top A-Grade Part Of It All!
ABSOLUTELY NO SLACKING ON THE INTERIOR!
None, check it out! Okay I could be mistaken they might feel that they slacked (They being whoever built this Godly thing!) I on the other hand admire the laced leather seats!
Oh and the rear seats! Still stock right? Maybe fitted with a new covering?
The cluster does look surprisingly authentique and untouched as well! They do have a radio inside the glove box... But those seats! Dang!
I know it's not exactly what you take on a 1000 kilometer road trip journey but grab a pillow or two and you'd be fine!
Fantastic!
I think I know what they did, they wanted to rebuild this thing and then... then.... Then they got lazy and decided to keep the panels just as they are and fit a nice strong engine in it!
I do hope they did have that swapped out, at-least I'm pretty sure they have and my reason for that is that it has some mean wide tyres on the rear end, not your standard tyre and on top of that one! They look like they get spinned a lot, so I do think that this is a little beast of a thing!
Have you noticed how each wheel cap is a different colour? That also counts as brownie points for what they've done! They have repaid their debt three fold so far!
Slick Isn't She?!
I am fond of all the trinkets the car has, check the smiley face stick to the far right of the front window! (Far left driver view...That yellow blob sticking out!) Then check on the front bumper there is a badge of some sort!
Then there is the air horn on the left side of the roof (Right side driver view) It also has this huge sticker on the door and all of the "Vibey" stuff at the top! They just needed a surf board, would have made it pretty slicker!
Damn I am glad I spotted this one! I'm even more glad that I pulled over for this one! It was jaw dropping! Now onto the next hunt! What'll it be?
