A ketogenic diet ( or keto diet in short) is a very low carb and high fat diet that has gained popularity in the past few years.
Basically, what have to do to follow this diet is that you have to cut all the carbs and replace it with good fats. Yes , you heard it right , "GOOD FAT" . People generally think that eating fat is just having burgers and pizzas and noodles but that's not what you can eat in any of the diet on this planet.
Now, I will tell you how this diet works and how does it helps you lose those kilos that you've been trying to reduce since a long time.
Actually what happens is when you eat carbs , it ultimately breaks down into glucose and that provides energy to our body to work all day.
But what will happen, "If we stop giving carbs to our body" ? Have you ever thought about it ?"
The answer is our body will replace the source of energy and then start consuming it to get the system running. So, when we stop giving carbs to our body and replaces it with fat , our body start using fat as the NEW source of energy.
When our body consumes all the fat that we have given it in a day, it starts using the stored fat in our body. This way we start losing fat and ultimately start losing some kilos.
