So I posted my first blog to hive yesterday. After that I installed ecency app on my android phone. Installing ecency app was easy. It only takes a some steps and I was set to go. When everything was in place, I signed in to my hive account via ecency andorid app.
I was so happy when I got notified that some people has voted my post and one of them (@brittandjosie) left a message under my blog post. It was a very warm welcome message from @brittandjosie. She told me about the basic security principle in hive about the password, and tell me something about peakd which later on I learn that it is another site just like ecency to get a user going on hive. So now I learn that beside hive.blog and ecency.com, a hive user can also log in to peakd.com.
So I typed a reply to her. When finished I clicked the reply button. A message appeared telling me that I don’t have enough power to proceed. I was confuse.
In her reply, @brittandjosie also invited me to join a server on Discord which was named The Terminal. Later on I know what’s the meaning of the name, it is like a place where people gather before they go to their journey on the blockchain. Okay, that makes sense. I thought at that time, maybe I could get some help about it on the Discord. I am sure where people gather, each of them could learn something from each other. But it was late at night so I went to sleep.
In the morning, I opened the web browser on my PC and go to my post page. I clicked on the invite link @brittandjosie provided in her reply. The problem is when I clicked on the invite link, it was invalid or maybe has expired. I thought, she might has been inviting people to the Discord in her posts too, and maybe I might find a valid invitation link there. So I went to her profile and opened the top article there. Yes, there was a valid invitation to the The Terminal server on Discord there. That’s how I joined The Terminal server.
Arrived on the The Terminal server, I was greeted by @thekittygirl. @thekittygirl wanted me to explain some things about myself, like what my hive account is, and how did I find the Discord server. @thekittygirl was a very friendly person, I learned much things from her.
When she learned that I am facing problem with Resource Credits, she taught me about that and decided to lend me some power to get going with hive, I was so grateful for this. @thekittygirl also said to me that she will visit my post and give it an upvote.
I then spent some minutes to learn the server.
When I thought I had learned enough things for the moment there, I went back to my post. I need to reply @brittandjosie. And I found out that @thekittygirl had also voted my post and left a reply. So then I reply them. And there are an addition of 25 HP in mw wallet. It’s working now thanks to the power borrowed to me by @thekittygirl. So I guess my expectation of the Discord was fulfilled. I have already got some help already : the knowledge, new acquaintance, some power to get going with hive. Yes I know there are lots of things to learn since I am new. And I will take all my medicine one at a time, now that I have people I can ask question I guess less thing to worry. Wasn’t it a great day?

Do you log in with keychain or hivesigner? So far I only saw hivesigner options but I prefer to use keychain.

Yeah splinterlands is a game, it costs 10$ to start and unlock the daily quests but after you can earn dec (another hive token) and cards from chests. It's what got me here in the first place.
