Another fascinating group of insects is the leaf beetle. They belong to the family Chrysomelidae, are generally recognized as leaf beetles. Most of the leaf beetles have antennal segments widen toward the tip and their colors may vary. Many are important leaf-feeding pests that feed on crop and ornamental plants. Leaf beetle, even a small-formed insect, mostly has wings, thus flight ability varies widely. This typical beetle can be found in the bushes or in the shrub with various colors. So here are some macro shots of leaf beetles that I took somewhere around the bush a few days ago.
