The Towny Coster

Hello everyons...!

Tawny caster

Seeing this butterfly, reminds me of my childhood in 2005 when I was 5 years old, and once watched a children's animated film that looked beautiful in its scenes, so in that film (forgot the name) this butterfly acts as a character who weak but very loving, and she often helps other species in the form of insects, her friends call her name Tawny and at that time I remember her figure very well.

So, today, I saw his true form all around me, precisely in one of the empty fields overgrown with some small infertile weeds. I approached him but he ran back to where he was going. But because of growing curiosity, I continued to follow him and in the end he stood in several locations where there was a lot of garbage scattered about.

I saw it never stopped closing its wings, unlike butterflies in general, so I thought it was not a butterfly species but it belongs to a moth, because it never closes its wings when it stays somewhere.

However, I think again, moths are generally active at night, while butterflies are active during the day. Then... Why is he adventuring in broad daylight. My curiosity grew, and I continued to follow him, it turned out that the butterfly's behavior was seen when standing on a flower branch that covered its wings. Seeing that condition, I approached it to take a photo, but it didn't work, because it flew back, in another direction, it turned out that this butterfly had its own reason why it didn't cover its wings, this was due to its alert effect when it smelled the movements of strangers nearby.

I did not waste this beautiful moment because according to my vision it was very beautiful, without waiting for other clues, aiming at his personal cellphone camera with perfect focus, but it would be nice if he moved and always controlled himself, in a movement, that came from a stranger (according to him).

This the tawny of caster butterfly, very rarely seen in our area, somehow it is here and there. Perhaps this is due to natural changes in nature in our area. This is influenced by the improving natural conditions in our area. This means that during the covid19 period here, a lot of activities have stopped, so there is less pollution in the form of smoke coming from every private company in our area. Then the cessation of household factories in creating a product resulted in the loss of these wastes that are not good for nature.

I've read his explanation about the Tawny Coster butterfly, it is one of the groups that belong to the depths of the Nymphalidae family, while the Subfamily is said to be in Heliconiinae (scientific explanation). While the explanation of entomologists says that, butterflies from this subfamily are characterized by perfectly flat hind wings and the cells on both wings are covered by tubular veins, and that characteristic is found in the figure of this butterfly. For more details, please take a closer look at some of the good pictures that have been uploaded above and below, some of the photos with prizes in photos with my smartphone.
