Long Nosed Planthopper, scientifically named Dictyophara nakanonis, is a species of planthopper belonging to the family Dictyopharidae, first described by Spinola, in 1839.

As for the nose, I don't know if it is more accurately called a nose or horn, but I am more likely to call it a horn. The color of the horns is quite interesting, striped with a combination of green and bright red. Has two smaller antennae under the eyes, body length is about 20-25 mm.

The nose is there so that if he bumps into something after hopping it acts as a huge bumper to protect his head lol.

Haaaa ... I guess so 😅

Kind of like a badmitton shuttlecock.

Unik.. Belum pernah jumpa yang begini :)
