Some Macro Shots of Beetles: Cicindela aurulenta and Chlorophorus annularis

I have some macro images taken with my phone camera and will share them here.

This is the fastest runner beetle, featuring long, slender legs. Cicindela aurulenta, commonly known as the bamboo tiger longicorn. The beetle is frequently observed in rocky river environments in North Aceh. However, I have often spotted some beetles hunting ants in my yard recently.

The beetle has a colorful body—I have difficulty explaining that. The six spots on the shield are the most prominent characteristics of this beetle.

It has strange and complicated jaws. It seems to have more than two antennae. In addition to the two antennae on the face, I observed there are four more antennae (please correct me) between its jaws.

Next is Chlorophorus annularis, commonly known as the bamboo tiger longicorn.

I found this beetle on a Java apple and coconut plant in my yard. The beetle has two long antennae, an elongated yellow body, and brown-striped markings on its back and shield.

Is this beetle a pest? I'm not sure how to explain that. So far, I have not observed any damage caused by this beetle to our Java apple plants.
